Where did they get all the material to make the ark? The area where Moses was travelling in Saudi Arabia there's no forests just rocky desert and mountains so the wood came from the wagons so chariots had to be sacrificed to make this ark . The blue sapphire was actually blue granite or shale rock and it was radioactive, the gold covering outside and inside was a protective shield so gold outside, wood inside and gold inside the whole thing must of weight 50 kg . Moses when coming down from Mount Sinai was glowing meaning radiating.
Stop trying to look for a scientific explanation. Speaking to God made Moses “radiate” he wasn’t radioactive. Irradiated people don’t even glow like how Moses was described to be glowing.
People forget however that God is the one who told them how to build the ark. Do you think he could not have been able to tell them how to make better tools to do so? I mean if they can build a vessel like the ark, I am sure they could come up with better tools. People try to put God in a small box (No pun intended) that he cannot do these things.
You may wish to reevaluate the weight of the Ark. Not discounting the 'plating' (not coating) of the Shittim wood box itself.... As I understand it, the lid of the Ark measured approximately three feet by five feet and three inches thick and was fashioned from pure solid gold. One cubic foot of gold weighs in at approx. 1,206 lbs. and there are over 2 cubic feet that comprise the lid alone. The Ark of the Covenant would have weighed in at well over 1 ton. How did two men carry that over vast distances using only two wooden carry rods while dressed in heavy insulation clothing?
Experimental archaeology is pretty neat. But I think we can pretty much say ahead of time that it was physically possible to do all this with their level of technology. There are clear examples of cultures being able to work gold before them. Fun to experiment and work out how, but the narration is misleading.
The Biblical story says they "borrowed" jewelries of silver and gold and raiments, from their Egyptian neighbors [EX11:2; EX12:35-36]... maybe their neighbors were leaving jewelry on open graves of loved-ones dying in the plagues... maybe the Jews were involved in healing crafts, cabala-solace, in addition to Moses' plague crafts... maybe they borrowed vicarious-avatar-jewels for a wilderness 'exorcism', but then did-not/could-not return.... (A reasonable 'guess' considering how many details need slight adjustment throughout the Bible: e.g. the Exodus number was of aleph-teams not thousands, though that, is, what a combat-aleph-team is worth; e.g. the number of years of Jacob/Israel's family in Egypt was only 238....)
Isnt "borrowing" a form of grave robbery? A - couldnt return B _ chose not to bother C - took what they thought was rightfully theirs, Spoils of exile, god given, and or finders keepers? D - all of the above
They had incredible knowledge of trades woodworking shipping trades dock buliding(don’t tell curse of oak island) water navigation prestos metals and possibilities of nucular fusion. Very high level of extreme buliding

The Bible says that God would cause the Egyptians to be kindly disposed toward the Hebrews so that they would voluntarily hand over to them gold and precious gems before they departed Egypt. That was one way the Hebrews would have had such wealth as described not only in making the ark but in all the items of the Tabernacle.
I see many Comments here where people are making firm and hard statements about what happened back then. Where is the proof of what they're saying? I hope they aren't going to wave a Bible at me and tell me that I have to 'have faith'. The workmen in the video are doing a physical task, and without dogmatizing over things.
If the biblical text is too long to read; it wasn't just a group of nomads that left egypt, built some stuff, and wandered the desert for 40 years because someone lost a quarter... There were millions of them, with an army of six hundred thousand men alone. Twenty thousand men had the sole responsibility on moving the Tabernacle (Ark + Tent). These millions of slaves, plundering as they left, were joined by an uncounted number of egyptians, also plundering as they left. They traveled to other cities and regions, warring, razing, recruiting, looting, and screwing... for forty years because there were complications with the first generation that left, complications being that they decided to start worshiping a giant gilded cow, and thus the first generation was deemed unfit to enter the promised land where there was supposed to be no idolatry.
1. It is a mercy seat. How could God sit on that one. 2. The Angels helped the Israelites. Read Exodus, lev, numbers. They need to read all of it.. Egypt gave them good before they left.. and much more..
Africa was rich in gold, especially in those times. The story goes that the hebrews took household treasures from egypt with them. So the amount of gold is plausible. Plus Exodus states the Ark was covered in gold, not solid. Besides the top ornaments which were solid.
Maybe we should just look at it and see. It's not lost, the bible tells us where it is. Others know also but they would never reveal where, for if they did, it would pretty much prove the Bible to be true. They can't have that...not in this time.
"Line by line, precept upon precept, a little here a little there" this is the rule the Bible gives to understand what it is saying.
TL;DR The story is BS....
A - couldnt return
B _ chose not to bother
C - took what they thought was rightfully theirs, Spoils of exile, god given, and or finders keepers?
D - all of the above
They focused on a ring!? The thing was coved in LEAF. A ring is easy. And what would the glue be
So what’s in the ark?radiation of some kind?
just an empty coke can
They had incredible knowledge of trades woodworking shipping trades dock buliding(don’t tell curse of oak island) water navigation prestos metals and possibilities of nucular fusion. Very high level of extreme buliding
When I read this part of the Bible all I got out of it was “blue, purple, scarlet, gold, linen”
Narrator sounds like the voice actor for Ghost Recon Wildlands and the politician from CyberPunk
oh, Todd looks so young.
Where did they get the gold? They had plenty of gold in the golden calf idol they made when Moses went up on the mountain to get the 2 tablets from God that wrote the 10 Commandments.
They built the wonders of Egypt, why would this be a problem for them??? The fine tools they had in Egypt, they probably took with them!
Were the EGYPTIANS primative? Were the Romans primative? Were the Greeks primative??? But some how the people of Yah are????????????
Wasn’t it the Queen of Sheba who marvel at all that Salomon had??????????
DaveyShofarאיל ancient people were not knuckle dragging cavemen like “science” would like us to believe. They make fun of people who believe in God and that He is our creator yet they believe everything happened when nothing exploded and created everything! Goes completely against their own science that shows everything goes from a state of order to disorder. It takes far more faith to believe that nonsense than it does to believe in a creator.
@Oftin Wong totaly agree with you! But when you put shofar in
your name and you have a story like that.....it show how peoples or deeply brainwash by one book....one side of the story!
God is alive and well....as always
one stump equals one plank of wood one centimeter thick. technically economical for the smithsonian. something similar to one tree, one toothpick.
I hope he gets into alchemy and learns how to turn the bronze into gold 🧚🏽♀️
The Bible says that God would cause the Egyptians to be kindly disposed toward the Hebrews so that they would voluntarily hand over to them gold and precious gems before they departed Egypt. That was one way the Hebrews would have had such wealth as described not only in making the ark but in all the items of the Tabernacle.
God watches over all the people of the world.. amen
It's what's inside of the box that matters not the the box itself 🤪
Yes of course they did
I see many Comments here where people are making firm and hard statements about what happened back then. Where is the proof of what they're saying? I hope they aren't going to wave a Bible at me and tell me that I have to 'have faith'. The workmen in the video are doing a physical task, and without dogmatizing over things.
If this was the real Ark anyone that touches it would drop dead the moment they saw it o.o now that is the power of God
But doesn't the desert have no trees?
its not a desert, and even less so back then.
Actually, I was curious as to what type of wood the ark was made from. I know at the time Lebanon had cedar, but my guess would be pine.
@@Briguy1027 I think its usually translated as acacia wood.
Why?
.... and then again it might have been a civilization thousands of years before the Egyptians...
Former slaves had gold wedding rings? Were wedding rings even customary then?
Ok so technical knowledge was there, explaining that amount of gold even now a days is hard to build up the wait of it.
it was wood covered with gold foil.
@@RangerCaptain11A ah yeah I see.
Your right....look at the Hutchison effet.....a canadian who build a Ark and test it to see what it could be. Very interesting.
@@jean-rochdion4898 good point.
The Bible does NOT tell us where it is... more twisting of the truth...!
"Line by line, precept upon precept, a little here a little there" this is the rule the Bible gives to understand what it is saying. We understand Johns vision that was sealed till the time of the end. We understand who the "man of sin" is (antichrist), we know what the "Mark" is. If you seek, truly, the truth, the Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth.
Israelites didn’t use wedding ring and slaves wouldn’t have valuables
Could nomads have done this …. The Bible says God gifted them with the skills they needed
where did Israel get their materials? after the Pharoah said the could leave " and the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. and they spoiled the Egyptians."
To assume they wouldn't have had the technology is pure ignorance.
Modern humanity... over engineered
Why wouldn’t the Israelites be able to create the arc? Weren’t they Egypt’s craftsmen. Look up Primitive Technology and see what can be done. I mean really.
Fill it with hydrochloric acid
They had master craftsman in their population. And with God's direction, made a work of art
Yeah people keep forgetting that God told them exactly what to do and even gifted them with craftsmanship skills
Israelites didn't have saw, didn't have tools, used the bronze age tools yet they're the ones who built the Pyramids too ?!!! Huh wonder how ?!
and God said not to build one like it. . . So my friend, what are you doing then??? God said not to try and build one, so why are you doing exactly what your creator said???? Lets have some answers.???
just totally wrong - just look at furniture from the time period found in tombs - and the gold was hammered, not poured. Just plain guesswork.
well he made a kinda ring hardly an arc
just a proof of concept.
They also got gold out of the land of Egypt, they took from the Egyptians
This video is all wrong. You make many assumptions.
Guessing technics on building a non-existent object is very scientific...
not!
The Ark was a capacitor within the pyramid. Moses stole it, left, and Pharaoh went after him (couldn't stand the thought of Egypt being left without power). Gone would be the days of their wireless power transmission thereafter
Kavya Is that how a soldier from another country died preventing the ark from toppling over?
Because you heard that story in the net...so now it's true.
the ark is amazing
I would love to build an Ark from bronze tools. Jesus is Lord and YHWH is our Creator! Amen!
Maybe start off with something small like a fishing boat if you love to fish. Recreating historic replicas could be a hobby you enjoy.
And the Lord said " to moses i have already gave them the skills to make the ark
Wow😊
They got it from.farogh .
I crafted a replica of the ark of the covenant
psalm 105:37 He brought out Israel, laden with silver and gold . . .
Iron tongs tho...
They got the gold and silver from the Egyptians. Yahweh had them "despoil" the Egyptians before they left.
Egypt had conquered Jerusalem and surrounding areas at the time, so the Israelite's escaped Egypt into more Egypt?
@Hineni John3:16 Interesting, I don't remember the Egyptians ever ruling Jerusalem, but I suppose anything is possible. I'm pretty sure it was part of the Ottoman Empire for a super long time.
Humans were infinite geniuses since the first day of Adam. We're made in God's image lol
David ratte built one. Exactly replica. He's not a master.
...or ... the whole thing was a flight of imagination?
well its recorded in Egyptian history. I guess that nation imagined it?
@@RangerCaptain11A recorded where?
@@TheCsel 1) The Ibscha Relief from the tomb of Khnumhotep II, 2) a papyrus mentions a wealthy Egyptian lord whose 77 slaves included 48 of Semitic origin, 3) by the late Middle Kingdom era, around 3700 years ago, Canaanites had actually achieved power, in the form of a line of pharaohs ruling the Lower Kingdom, coexisting with the Egyptian-ruled Upper Kingdom. These Canaanite pharaohs included the mysterious "Yaqub," whose existence is attested by 27 scarabs found in Egypt, Canaan and Nubia and a famous one found at Shikmona, by Haifa.
so lots of breadcrumbs around to validate the Genesis narrative.
@@RangerCaptain11A interesting. thanks.
American narration and production techniques are very irritating. 2 minutes and I’m out.
The bible states they have saws and an engine mmmmmmmmmmm

God was With them and enabling them ,,,,, Exodus. 31 : 6Moreover, I have selected Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, as his assistant. I have also given skill to all the craftsmen, that they may fashion all that I have commanded you: 7the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the Testimony and the mercy seat upon it, and all the other furnishings of the tent-…
THAT is in no way even a replica of the Ark - the Angels wings were up and touching at the tips (if people are going to replicate something, at least study what the original actually looked like instead of doing your won version!!!!!!
where do you get your "information". I assume you are just referencing Indiana Jones as your primary source.

Give Up? - How About a large capacitor? - Namely, "The Black Stone of Islam"/"The Black Stone of Mecca."
It's too bad they shattered it to pieces...
Total rubbish.
Bronze is not gold.

true, but gold is way easy to work with. In forming and casting. If you can cast it in bronze you can be sure its possible in gold and easier.
