Well, they could be bi or pan, who just don't know yet. It happens a lot with people who grew up in a conservative enviroment, in their case, their own country, since the scenes with more skinship in the drama had to be censored, we know that China won't accept it really well. Anyways, a lot of people who grew up with a conservative family, religion, culture, country, etc, always believe that they can only love the opposite s*x and then they never pay attention to the feelings they feel with someone from the same s*x, they'll always think that this is just something normal friends feel for each other. Unfortunately, this internalised homophobia prevents people from living a true love story. Wow, i just vented so much, sorry.
