To be honest, I do not know how to feel about this. I was one of many Cast Members who had the honor to work as a Navigator (Wild Berry Poptarts we called ourselves due to our uniform colors) at DisneyQuest and to see the state of the place now after the official closing in July is downright heartbreaking and tragic. I understand that demolition is not a pretty business for memories, esp those from theme parks and attractions (think Ellen, Great Movie Ride, etc) but since I worked at this place, it hits ESP hard. PixelManClem 986 it used to be a multi level arcade and interactive activities with some virtual reality stuff such as make your own roller coaster ride and then you hop in a simulation pod and you ride through the tracks you put together. That was the highlight I remember. They had food stalls. Tons and tons of arcade games where you just hit the green button and you play. Pretty much about a $45 ticket or so for a day of free arcade games from pinball to using light guns shooting a screen. They had these bumper cars that rah had their own canon that fired these large black balls at other riders in their car and to pick up another ball you would just drive over it and it would be sucked up and given to you by your car. Luckily I was able to go I it’s prime and it was packed and tons of fun. However at the end it was nearly dead. Good times.

it hurts so bad to see this. i was practically raised here, disney quest was the best thing. its such a shame that it was replaced for a ridiculous ESPN thing. god, it hurts my heart so badly, i just wanna cry at this footage, so many good memories..
The roller coaster design area is the most memorable place of that whole building for me. I was last there in 2015 for a band trip. So crazy to see it all abandon like that especially thinking of the memories I made with my friends there.
I wonder what the folks responsible for shutting down DisneyQuest were thinking. And I _especially_ wonder what they were thinking after the "NBA experience" replacement got shut down after *less than a year.* 🤭 Can't imagine that those decisions were very profitable for Disney.
It's so bizarre seeing the place in such a miserable state like this when I vividly remember having just been there a week before they shut down, and everything was on and functioning and (sorta) full of people.
I wonder why owners just destroy and dismember everything inside a building once it closes that just adds to the disturbing vibe, why not throw everything in the trash instead of destroying it making a bigger mess, or leave everything the way it is and later give it away perfectly fine without destroying it, it just makes me wonder how they destroy everything after it closes (probably like animals)
I started watching this thinking it was something I had never seen/been to… I looked up what it looked like originally and the memories flooded back 😭! I went back in 2004 and was 10. Remember riding the rapids ride and the 3D Aladdin Magic Carpet ride! Fantastic place!
Really loving the disney series of videos, the five nights at freddies guy should be paying you for this inspiration. Wonder why they let them get so dilapidated and didn't sell/recycle the simulator rides. Would love to see more backstage disney stuff, even if it's not for an abandoned ride. But don't get in trouble!

But glad you got to sneak in there and I gotta tell ya it’s unsettling seeing a giant Pinocchio head staring in darkness over at the animation center inside the build but may this place Rest In Peace and now in memories of our childhood.
2 minutes in and I'm already terrified by the giant pinocchio head
I like your videos exactly the way they are!
He just straight BOOKED IT at the beginning lmfao
Disney is just such a wasteful company. They complain about money but then leave stuff like this that could be sold or reused. Sad.
Imagine the pinochio head turning it's eyes to look at you and then it's eyes roll back into its head and it screamed at you holy shit i'd die
3:22, those are steps to draw mickey mouse, it looks like it is a best ideal to draw the 1928 mickey, since he entered in public domain this year
the amount of dread this would give me is INSANE. just seeing the place already freaks me out
Lol always bring extra batteries
You've got nerves of steel for exploring these places!
I love that I hear random noises from his camrea
I miss this so much....thats my childhood they abandoned 😭 So many good memories on those rides...
I would steal that buzz light-year
it hurts so bad to see this. i was practically raised here, disney quest was the best thing. its such a shame that it was replaced for a ridiculous ESPN thing. god, it hurts my heart so badly, i just wanna cry at this footage, so many good memories..
The roller coaster design area is the most memorable place of that whole building for me. I was last there in 2015 for a band trip. So crazy to see it all abandon like that especially thinking of the memories I made with my friends there.
The KND intro though, making me nostalgic.
I wonder what the folks responsible for shutting down DisneyQuest were thinking.
And I _especially_ wonder what they were thinking after the "NBA experience" replacement got shut down after *less than a year.* 🤭 Can't imagine that those decisions were very profitable for Disney.
25:04 that Pinocchio in the dark looks creepy.
I cannot see him
*>sees giant Pinocchio head*
*>exits video*
my body took a screen shot at 1:47 when you trip on something
I was half expecting like Amelia from Treasure Planet or a crazy version of Woody popping out of nowhere 😂
It's so bizarre seeing the place in such a miserable state like this when I vividly remember having just been there a week before they shut down, and everything was on and functioning and (sorta) full of people.
Bro put the woodpecker down it’s all I can hear lmao
I was thinking the same
Came from the Defunctland podcast, staying for the suspense. 👍
My mans really just stepped on buzz
Really loving the disney series of videos, the five nights at freddies guy should be paying you for this inspiration. Wonder why they let them get so dilapidated and didn't sell/recycle the simulator rides.
Would love to see more backstage disney stuff, even if it's not for an abandoned ride. But don't get in trouble!
Edward they never did bc they are so out of date no one wants them.
