Probably the best looking electric car BMW has at the moment (although that's not saying much). With the M60 drivetrain, it's going to be a rocket. Looking forward to the comparison to the M5 ICE version.
BMW, what are you doing ?!?! you forget about your main family trait. you forget about genetics - this is a classic chassis layout! make the classic layout more pronounced, move the front axle forward. BMW, good luck to you !
Like the other new 5 series models it looks like rubbish. No style, flat sides, no nice lines, no verve (look it up). BMW must have old people working in their design department these days.
Congratulations: A car nobody wants. What is BMW doing?? You should see the lack of excitement at the BMW drive events, for the electric cars -- BMW owners could give two craps about all electric cars. BMW is killing their own brand.
I hated the design also until I went in person to see this car at Welt last week, it does look nice in person. For some reason on camera it doesn't but close up the car's design isn't too bad. The paint is quite something to touch, super smooth, really nice finish. However, go across the road and see the 3.0 CSL and the Homage, then you see what BMW can really do and this i5 starts to look like an ugly duckling. BMW, please make more like the CSL and Homage, not cartoon cars with wedges. The white paint with motorsport decals and frozen gold wheels on those CSL and Homage cars is amazing.

Let’s not forget to mention that the i5 is unsightly! This is coming from someone who doesn’t mind the M3/M4, M2 and XM.
