Ghost recon needs to do keep doing what all other shooters aren’t doing, and that’s staying authentic and true to real life military aesthetics. Too many games are falling prey to commercialism with out of place skins and cosmetics and I’m tired of it. I want my military game for once to feel like an actual military game and not another Fortnite knock off.
Yeah, even Halo went stupid with plushies and crap on your spartan. ... Uuuuuuh, rainbow colours and plushies makes the game seem so childish and ruins immersion if you ask me. I dont even play online these days and havent looked back due to it. Ill play single player experiences any day these days, even with Breakpoint, versus see what many game companies have done with their online experiences.
also more gun optimization settings, for example putting light on left or right side, etc and canting the weapon and leaning the player would also help, red dots on pistols, belt pouch settings etc etc, we dont anymore skins or guns or missions, just more in depth story and more npc actiivites and smaller map imho

As someone who only played Ghost Recon Breakpoint after it had been completely revamped (from what i hear) I am pretty excited for a new game. I sunk over 100 hours into BP and I am still playing it with friends. The character graphics are dated but the environment is still beautiful, especially for a game made in 2019.
We need a tactical sandbox for the next Ghost Recon. The current GTA formula isnt what Ghost Recon is about.
As long as I can approach missions like in Breakpoint and have a story like Wildlands, I'm happy - but this next game needs to be good at launch, or I'm not buying.

I was saying the very same thing the other day: I wanted a new Wildlands Breakpoint style, but I didn't count on Ubisoft to create it, and damn sure I didn't count on it being good on release. Most game developers are too goddamn lazy for that these days. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Ubisoft handed the story over to those Sweet Baby B*tches to make the story more like the military of today.

Would be nice if they flesh out the existing formula. Love the latest two entries as it is, especially with fps mod, they are completely different games. New level of immersion. Actually afraid to walk into the enemy compound in fear of getting one shotted. So add fps option. Like in fallout. Then maybe just adjust details. Like AI should have lowered vision at night.
Imagine if Keanu Reeves was in the next ghost of recon game, bet it would be epic

I heard that they 'found that there is demand for realistic shooters' which is why they are making this one like their progenitors... there was always demand for realistic, authentic shooters... the next generations of GR where just made under the impression that some ridiculous twitch shooter that they believed appealed to the masses and was just like everything else out there would be the best way to make money. Why do you think the original GR was so acclaimed in the first place? The more detail to everything about warfare the better.
Combine Wildlands... With ready or not and squad and youve got the best openworld co operative shooter on the market with the ability of large scale battles and larger squads...

The way Ubisoft is going , I’m expecting the next Ghost Recon to be worse than Breakpoint with all Division elements, like Loot Boxes , Expertise , Bullet Sponges and bosses with Defender drones.
Ubisoft will never listen to the Hardcore Ghost Recon players, I doubt there will ever be another Wildlands. Instead we will end up with a game where Pistols and Sniper Rifles can no longer one shot, destroying any stealth elements in the game , in favour of a bullet sponge run and gun with loot boxes, teired loot and an expertise system that can be by passed by micro transactions and pay to win

@@wolfjay1239 Breakpoint isn’t so bad now we have the settings to play ghost mode and turn that unnecessary rubbish off, including drones.
We need provincial and regional support forces in case of alarms of any kind that come literall from any side after some time to force you to complete the task and EVAC( mini drones, sensor hidden and unhidden ones. Vehicle Customization, Vehicle Ammo, Vehicle Resources like fuel, ammo, heavy ammo...

I just hope they go back to how wildlands was played. Breakpoint missed the target in my opinion. Besides a few patrols here and there and the ability to turn on or off certain dynamics of the game, it was a little boring. Wildlands i think had the best missions, i mean the predator mission was epic. I hope they make it more in depth as far as world events are concerned with the character customizations like breakpoint.

Definitely not Ready that is more Rainbow 6, they need it more like Gray Zone Warfare but 3rd person view & 1st person view, but definitely more powerful, but the New Ghost Recon needs to dedicated voiceovers for dedicated playable characters so if we play as any character it's the voiceovers,
We don't need to reboot Splinter Cell. What we need is sequels with Sam replacing Lambert as Operations Manager & introduce new characters to grow & love. They're doing that with Nomad & Captain Mitchell from what we seen so far, we need something similar to that in Splinter Cell.
Ghost Recon has been my favorite franchise since the original in 2001. GR needs to get back to its roots. So excited for the next GR game!!!!!

I hope they keep everything open the way it felt and looked on Breakpoint but more urban terrain and story like Wildlands. More close quarter combat with door interaction and enemies that don't just run out, but stay back secure the building and tactically move around the objective too. We should have to recon the base and then recon the inside of buildings and structures, breach doors and windows etc. Think to RB6V2 meets Ghost Recon. This will add twice the suspense for every mission. Ghost Recon Danger Close !!
Just hope it won't be a shitty looter shooter and more importantly will not have any online-only requirement.

I really loved both wildlands and breakpoint, expecially the last one, i'm still playing it!
If they made a sequel or a new GR but with breakpoint's mechanics, gameplay, and an updated gunsmith and character customization, i think ill be in paradise! 😅

No Looter/shooter! No online player only! No f-ing FPS! There are tons of those options already on the market. Wildland gameplay with new storyline please. More ability to customize weapon systems and gear loadout.
As long as it has a first person view option I'll be happy.
Literally all they had to do was a new map and story for Wildlands. Same characters, voice actors, graphics, interface, customization, etc. Maybe some updated gear and gun accessories. The ability to use a weapon light, LPVO, bolt cutters, etc. But honestly, IMO Wildlands was a perfect game.
Ghost recon has the potential to be the best strategy stealth realistic spec-ops game, but they keep messing it up 😭

Ghost Recon Wildlands will always be the big brother of the Ghost Recon series. That game is just built different and is more satisfying and proper story line than breakpoint. 2024 and I'm still replaying wildlands for probably the 8 time.
Same I really hoped they’d make a wildlands 2 keeping the same stuff just improving it in every other area like regional support, rebels trained better, more better ai, more large skill rebel support missions

Instead of ready or not style grc how about it being rainbow six taking on counter terrorism missions maybe having it on multiple open world small maps (towns/valleys/small cities ) , also allowing us to customize our operative/s and gear ,weapons etc.. rainbow six originally started out in counter terrorism but look whats going on with seige and extraction 😂😂😂, bring us back to original intentions etc.. with deployment planning from roof top drops to hostage rescues and intel gathering on our targets and so on , these deployments could be a solo/co op small campaigns with AI support and squad mates for solo play and such to

as long as they don't do another breakpoint waste of time- BP had a total of 30 ish story missions- wildlands had 116 plus the 2 DLC. the mission and story for BP is what let it down for me. so open world a ton of missions NO raid. I wouldnt mind the room clearing as an added side. the one thing BP did well was the dropped into fully active and hostile world rather than wildlands widely spaced hostility

It needs to go back to its roots. It's needs everything from the advanced warfighter series and future soldier blended together, not the corny open world enemies emerge out of thin air stuff that wildlands/breakpoint offered. And they DEFINITELY should not do the stupid predator and terminator style gimmicks in it.
Hope its not like Division 1 or Recon warland and make playerble and Balance and stop all that extreme alert Extreme detective bs and let people play the way they want make decent solo mode and make a hard mode of extreme mode for those who want to play Hard Core. Because everybody don't want to be getting stressful. They want to enjoy the game. Have fun, we all want to challenge. But that's not getting ridiculous. Like days going. That's a very challenge game. But you could play The Way you wanna play. And stop switching the difficulties If people wanna play easy mode normal regular mode hard mode extreme mode better remote let them make that choice

I'm a pretty big Ubisoft hater, I dislike the way they design games (Specifically recent titles, not as much older stuff) in the sense that its almost fully designed around micro transactions and arcade like UI and controls, forced live service etc but I absolutely love the games they make at the same time. I pray to the Ubi gods that they do good on this game
Imagine it was a trench warfare and recon game with fpv and recon drones that warfighters are dealing with today in the fight in Ukraine instead of some futuristic and far removed from reality.

I'm not excited at all. The last game Breakpoint was appauling. I still reply Wildlands which was leaps and bounds better. I'm also terrified it'll be completley wokeified. Also there central hub where players login was actual bullshit, nobody liked that.
