3rd Class Exploration! - Titanic: Honor & Glory - Demo 401 (With Added Music & Effects)
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 14 окт 2024
- Let's explore the 3rd Class spaces onboard the luxury ocean liner Titanic!
We'll begin by taking a look at the Docking Bridge and some of the 3rd Class deck spaces, before head inside and look at the 3rd Class Smoking and General Rooms that are located just below the Poop deck. Then we'll descend the stairwell down to E Deck and take a look at Cabin 147, one of the newly added cabins. After that, we'll wander down Scotland Road looking at the Cargo Holds, Engineers' Mess, Stewards' Lavatory, and the 3rd Class Dining Room along the way. Then, before we end with the 3rd Class General Room, we'll swing by the Master-At-Arms Cabin and Cabin 19A.
Since Demo 401 is so quiet, I've decided to add the Titanic: Honor & Glory soundtrack, as well as some sound effects. Credits can be found below.

Imagine this complete Titanic model as basis for a role game or story game with lots of AI walking around and doing their jobs. Jesus. I hope something like this might come one day when we are still alive
I was just thinking this myself. It would be so much more immersive if there were npcs talking, eating, smoking and then after the titanic hits the iceberg, everyone would be screaming, panicking, children crying. All of that plus VR....it would be almost time traveling into the past and experiencing it for yourself. But that takes many many years to accomplish of course.
That was the original plan for Titanic Honor and Glory, but it was scaled down for a variety of reasons. Still gonna be a hell of a game when it’s finished, though
That would take the guys making it 100 years to make unfortunately. Even Star Citizen with all of its hundreds of millions of dollars is nowhere close to having any sort of a single-player story and that game has been in development since before this. I hope some good modders will make all sorts of mods like escaping rising water while finding a way out from the bottom decks, and maybe some voiceovers

Cut the blasphemy and please. You wouldn't use your own father's name as an expression of disgust, would you? Or Mohammed's, or Buddha's? Decency costs nothing!
Oh the third class were the happiest class as they were going to America and in a lovely boat most people had never seen anything like it. Most had never seen toilets before. It was a nice smoking room plus 1st and second classes had that stuff in real life 3rd class did not mostly so they were the happiest class ❤until the ship hit the iceberg of course!😢
Very true, very heartbreaking!😢 My favorite thing about third class was the food, everything on the menu looked delicious to me.
3rd class doesn't look bad at all. I love the Olympic class sisters 👍👏😊♥️🇺🇸
Menschen in. Klassen einzuteilen, ist sowieso das. Letzte
I think you do the best tours. The movement is really smooth and easy to watch. The graphical quality is very high and you take the time to look at things rather than rushing from one place to another. The labels showing which part of the ship we're seeing are a neat feature too, as are the comparisons with original images. My current PC would never run the demo, so thanks!

The movie inspired music is a really nice touch.
It's Irish flute music, made for a previous demo taking place in Ireland, to listen to while exploring a ship built in Ireland. Its inclusion has little-to-nothing to do with the movie, as a matter of fact.
@@DerpyPossum Ignore Derpy. He gets really upset when you speak of the film, especially if it's something positive
It's perfect. I can't imagine anything more appropriate for exploring the Titanic
@@ciaraoh9102 I know what you're trying to do.
One doesn't directly respond to the person of which they are warning towards another. Such an action would simply be devoid of sense, unless secretly meant to spur something of negativity in the former.
To deter one's own apparent attempt to incite conflict, though do forgive me for assuming such, I'll have you know that I admire the film a great deal. It's heartfelt, has beyond admirable detail for its time, and is generally quite a decent portrayal of many events. It is objectively a fantastic film, and whilst those who make note of its inaccuracies do have their points, those who do so to the point of harming others' mentalities towards it are most certainly not in the right, to say the least.
There are certain examples of humanity that do indeed change, with some doing so on such a numerous basis that they often "cringe" at what they themselves were like as a person merely a month or so prior. Self-reflection has since revealed and allowed myself to be included in this grouping of humanity, of which I cannot be more thankful. Being simple with things, I, of course, am not attempting to paint myself in a superior light, seeing as how I consider myself to reflect the very dictionary definition of "pathetic" and that I do truly think of myself as a minor "waste of oxygen". In contrast, I'm merely deterring any possible discourse, as controversy and difficult conversations are quite genuinely the things I hate the most in the world beyond doubt, at the very least in terms of my own involvement. I do hope that oneself can view the same, if one does so choose.
For a final addition -- that, admittedly, bares little relevance -- I'd prefer to be called "possum" as opposed to "derpy," but that's just me ;)
Otherwise, I do so wish for your day to be exquisite, my friend. 👍
I have the Titanic move soundtrack, really beautiful music!
The store that has a red bullseye logo used to have some terrific compilations of music like like this-I think I have them all. They’re what got me interested in Native American flutes. I doubt that they have them anymore but it’s worth a look.
Imagine a GAME based on the movie where you play either jack or rose and actually have to SAVE each other and the game also has different endings where both get home safe
Basically Leon and Claire in Resident Evil 2
Sehr, sehr gut gemacht.Dankeschön für diese Führung.
Absolutely beautiful but still makes me very sad. Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦🙏😢
Thanks for a much easier to watch tour, which takes in much more detail, and aso explains what we're looking at. Thank you. Other versions of this have just left me baffled and disoriented, by racing around everywhere. I still really would like to know what those rectangular, chained-off spaces are, under the gratings. They look like boxing rings, but obviously arent.
But it's fine details like the sheen on the fresh paintwork, and moving reflections on glass, which really gets me. It raises the quality well above the average graphics.
It's probably just to provide some natural light and most importantly fresh air. Check out "Oceanliners Design" channel for some nice videos on the technical background of Titanic.
@@dmues5s I'll ask Mike. I can understand the light well and fresh air aspect, it's just that it seems an odd waste of space, unless in reality it was used for storing Steerage class luggage, or something.
You're probably right - the raised edges of these openings are similar to those on other holes to access storage departments. And they gratings are located beneath the cranes, so easy loading would be possible.
Those spaces were covers for the cargo hatch shafts, which protected passengers from falling multiple decks in height.
@@DerpyPossum Ah! Thanks for that. Makes sense, now.
If we had Star Trek technology, we could recreate the Titanic via a holodeck or holosuite simulation! And you can hear the late Mabel Barrett Roddenberry as the computer talking - Program complete. Enter when ready!
Very well done! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😎🇨🇦
Great to explore I really enjoyed watching
5:34 Gamer Whisky
What’s with the glowing bottle at 5:33?
Nuka Cola Quantum.
5:14 Wait , what??? Those portholes are weird, why are they inclined and so far out of reach? How are you supposed to open and close it? People weren't as tall as they are today now either.....
Would be very interesting if the devs could implement realistic NPS walking around chattering in different accents with a (Chat gpt) back end. Not sure how or if it would be practical though.
Very very well done thank yo
3rd class was pretty decent
Good. Very well done
Fcdrde
Amazing.
Great video
Is the room at 16:40 where the Irish party in Third class took place in the James Cameron Film Titanic?
That's right
Yes it is although there is some machinery and fixed rope barriers around it and little smaller than portrayed in film so it been said that scene was probably unlikely - although that and the other deck were larger areas for steerage to gather
Someone please make the whole demo in VR!
If this I guess it's a game ever actually got finished like what what's the point just to be on the Titanic walking around?
Why is the docking bridge out in the open. It's not in an enclosed room with square windows?
People weren't gonna be using it 24/7.
Is that thing in the cabin a lavatory sink or a toilet? I’m confused
Did Titanic have a brig?
It would've sucked being third class passengers when water filled those cabins, after Titanic struck the iceberg. Those people sadly perished in great numbers. The numbers were staggering something like 95 to 98 percent of the third class died on the Titanic. Very few left. Sad.
It was worst for the single men, they were at the front. The families and single women were at the stern, they would not see the water coming at all, it would be dry till the end as it was lifted into the air
The Third Class Dining hall would be a v expensive restaurant in 2024
You have to remember this is not 2023 this is all in 1912
I just imagine myself being on the ship third class passenger taking it all in …
Imagine if someone really rebuilt the Titanic as a cruise ship? I bet if would be a REALLY successful business 🤔
Everyone I know would die to go on it but maybe younger people like my daughter wouldn't be that interested
That exists, its called the Titanic II
Despite so much interest in the Titanic, many would find the idea in poor taste
Not to mention, the design of the ship would probably have to be changed A LOT to be up to today's safety standards, and considering the conveniences and amenities of modern day cruise ships, people would probably get bored quickly living in a ship that's can only function as a living museum
@@oufukubinta Everyone would die to go on it sounds very ironic in view of back it was the other way round. A recreation as a museum to walk o9n and explore these mazes of corridors to explore would be amazing already to get a sense of the sheer size. I'd defo get lost there
@@Danny30011980 It wasn't intentional
Is this filming a game that can be downloaded on a computer?
Yep, for free as well.
Leider.
They need to do the Bismarck next.
That would be amazing but institutionalised racism against Germans would ensure it would be a niche product at best sadly - a loss making product
Stupid question: where did people shower?
There were was a pool, turkish bath, and two bathing facilities for each gender.
But the third class I don't think they had acess to any of those...
Third class had a limited number of communal shower facilities (but with individual showers)
I think back then to lack bath/shower for period needed to cross Atlantic was pretty common among 3rd class passengers in everyday life as well
Can’t even run the demo, no dx 12 for me.
3rd class is the best.
Love it but the music
If the captain wasnt an actual idiot sinking his ship.
The maiden voyage in third class could have been nice.
5:34 что за пасхалка? 👀
EN TERCERA CLASE SOLO VIAJABAN LOS POBRES
Y estaba bastante bien apesar de ello
UE5 Plz.. RTX Reflection.. SSR Shit
Imagine playing this with VR when it goes down. 🫣🫣
