Notice how the song focuses heavily on the moth girl's physical traits and says nothing of her actual personality. Without the visuals, we wouldn't be able to glean anything about moth girl as a person. That is the marker of an obsession, not love. You should learn the difference between the two before you find yourself in a similarly toxic entanglement as these characters. And also, you really think you have to be legitimately insane, as in having a severe psychological disorder or condition, in order to create pieces ABOUT insanity? If that were true, hon, than every author, songwriter, playwriter, etc would have to literally be everything their characters are. Creative writing requires putting yourself in a character's shoes and describing their perspective. You don't actually have to BE that character. Grow up.

Good question. I'm actually a top liner kind of writer, meaning I produce beats first and handle lyrics later. If you ever have problems doing lyrics first and trying to make a beat to accompany it, I def recommend trying to turn it around and experimenting with top lining instead. I find it much easier!
After reading the comic and all the story pieces on your site so much more becomes clear about all the songs an the lyric, for example the word ''rot'' I now know what it really means in the nightmare. and for everybody that doens't know: Look up that site and read the story, the info and the comic. I can't really explain it but it clears a lot of things up, and its also really impressive how it doens't make the songs weaker, but it ampliefies the meaning and the situation both in the dimension of the story and in real life. I atleast hope that made any sense.
