You'll find the XLB's operating across all Newlands routes, but if you go and ride Route 60, then there's a good chance you'll get one of the 2-axles (#7501 and #7502), as they predominantly run on that route.
Oh cool. I am enjoying both of your twos videos at the moment, James your videos really give off the vibe on what driving a bus is like, and Alex your videos are really cool and informative. Keep up all of the good work
I had a ride on 2017 one in Auckland last year. I prefer the seats in the 2018 one, but the 2017 one seemed brighter inside because the window at the rear was larger
This comment is unrelated to this bus, but I’ve just been on a refurbished bus that I believed was a scania due to it having a zf gearbox, but after getting off it looked awfully similar to a 3 axle Volvo. Are their any ZF Volvo busses owned by mana? It just didn’t quite sound like a scania
Yes, Mana has eight 3-axle Volvo B7RLE's, which were built the year before the Scania Buses. The Volvo's are numbered #7150-#7157 (some do not have the 7 yet). The Scania's are #7161-#7167 (as 160 was sold last year). #172 and #173 are not being refurbished.

Oh I see on the page, I believe it was the 2008 refurbished Volvo. I also had reason to believe it was a Volvo because the tail of the bus didn’t swing around corners
What an excellent sound and overall bus. Yet to take a ride on one, hope I get a chance.

Quite a pleasant bus, I prefer these much more than earlier enviro’s.. nice bell chime too, I prefer a quiet one like this :)
James Peter have you got a video of you driving one on your channel?
NZBus doesn't have any of these, so he won't.
Jack Turner no Alex is right, none at NZBus, hopefully in future 😃

Oh I see. So are you saying you believe the bus I was on was in fact a Volvo with a ZF?

Comparing the two photos it actually looks like the scania K280UB6 and the Volvo B7RLE share the same body. Is that correct?
for a new bus very nice but shame it has a rattle already
