I'm currently going through the same issue, and it's unbelievable that there is so little information about this and that as partners of RUclips, we literally talk to a wall. The only important thing missing from your video is that you didn't explain why it is that you had a problem verifying your identity to begin with. It seems like as far as I understand that that problem is occurring because the ID that we submitted and the address of the Google adsense account aren't the same. For example, I own a us passport, but I currently reside in the UK, so I think this is why I'm having issues getting approved on my identity verification. But what I don't understand is what I need to do? Does it mean that because my ID is from America, then I need my account to be under an American address, too? And what if I moved to another country and I have only my American ID? Wasn't your problem because your account and ID were not from the same country?
Hi! Thanks for your comment. We understand how you feel right now. My apologies for the missing information. In our case, the problem was the address. Our Adsense account address and ID didn’t match, and also, the ID we submitted wasn’t clear. So during our second application, we make sure that the Adsense account address and ID match, and we submitted clear ID. Make sure that the address you have in your adsense account is the same as your ID address. To sum it all up, whatever information you have in your ID must be the same information you have in your google Adsense account. Hope this helps. Have a good one!
@Fil-Viet Buddies Thank you so much. Yes, it took me a while to realize that the ID must match the account address. Well, I had to delete my previous account and open a new one in order to change the address. Google adsense doesn't allow you to change the address of your account. The only way is to close and open a whole new account. But then you lose the money you had accumulated in the previous account.

Hi! If you can’t delete you Adsense account, I guess just try to creat a new email for your Adsense account and use it, just select no existing account in applying Adsense, Im not sure with this since I didn’t encounter this one but u can try tho. Sorry to hear that

Hi! Please double check if ur id’s info is the same as ur google adsense account info. Another thing, when scanning ur id, double check the size of the file and make sure it’s clear. Not a pro about this google adsense issue but hopefully it helps. Have a great day

The issue was happened on day 1 of the new moth and the money isn't process to Google Adsense yet. If I close it and change to new Google account, which one will receive the money from previous month?
thanks for this video, I've had the same issue. After reaching out to Google and chatting with 2 reps there was nothing else I could do so like you I cancelled my Adsense account. I've followed your direction up to going to the Monetization tab and see that the option to click on 'Change Assosociation' is grayed out. What should I do now?
Hello ma’am, if the change association is grayed out, we don’t know the answer on how to fix it since the case is different from ours. Maybe you can try to research more about it.
Probably, asking some proof to make sure it is really your account, if there’s an option to send your ID, just follow the instruction and make sure that your ID information is the same as your Adsense account information

That might work but not sure, and as long as u trust the person if ever u wanna use a different email. In our case, since I and my friend are running this channel together and I am based here in Vietnam so we decided to use my friend’s information (Vietnamese)

Hi! Thanks for your comment. Yes, you have to create a new email, different from your youtube email. We also tried to use our old email since we deleted our old Adsense account and we thought it will work but it didn’t. So, we created a new email for Adsense account alone. Your case is quite different since our Adsense association wasn’t grayed out. But just try to wait, it may take time and while waiting try to search more infos about it
Yes po, u can use a different email to ur adsense account, once u created a new email for ur Adsense, u just need to put the link of ur youtube channel. Totally fine, that’s what we did
