Awesome equipment!! It all seems very efficient. Except for the fire place. We have two wood stoves at our house. Upstairs and downstairs. Thats the way to go.

This is why I engineered my own rough terrain towable, more eco friendly to have a all in one machine that when finished you leave the wood lot with firewood and not need a processor after words. Besides my rough terrain has its own attachments for farming ,hunting ,forestry ,construction and so on . Because of the suspension design to carry the load even a horse can tow the unit. Inventor of Debert .

Nah where's the fun in that.. What else is there to do when there's 3 feet of snow on the ground? Gather next years supply, with no impact to the forest floor. Count me in!

I think paying for oil would be cheaper. I don't think this operation is to save money on the heating bill.
Well getting an oil heating system for your old house is propably more expensive than going to the nearby forest and making your wood

The lessons learned:
1) Invest 50 or 60000 $ to harvest firewood worth less than 50 bucks
2) Always make sure, to run out of firewood in the midst of a scandinavian winter
3) Never do the aftermath or compare costs of buying dry & ready split firewood in fall
