Crap, I used their first title when they released the demo. *sigh.
ALSO I just noticed this, but (If You Weren't So) Perfect isn't the song they played, they played Wait For Something Wild. Since When Will the Forest Speak...? goes with it relating to their first album title.
Corrected! I did while at work and half asleep. lol but thx
Damn, I miss this band..
Those bass lines!!!👌
God damn it, that bass player, holy shit, such style, such tone, it's unlike anything else in metal
Dan looks like a pissed off Science Teacher that lets it all out on the weekends
Sikth and Carcbomb are the best bands on the planet
+1 for Carbomb
+1 toasts for Car Bomb
i need a tour with Sikth, Carbomb, Karnivool, and Meshuggah. that would be monstrous
karnivool are workin on new shit... itll be mega
Met Dan at one of his masterclasses and he was just the fucking nicest guys ever. Chatting to us while he was rolling his cables , letting us play on his guitar and gear. But your right, he does look like a science teacher, especially when he has his glasses on
I like what Rosser brings to the band, but I'll always love Justin's vocals for Sikth.
SikTh is one of the best live bands out there!
I SLAMMED SO FUCKING HARD TO THIS IN MY APARTMENT.. FUCK YEAH! GOD I WISH TO SEE YOU LIVE GUYS!!
Bassist is repping Black Peaks. Good man.
I can't wait to see em at the Sound Circus on Friday!!
I was blown away by king Mudvayne…..& this cat from the uk blew everyone away without trying….the only one who could hit has hard on using a pic and slap at the same volume……Mr Leach is the Mark king of meta!!!!!!!!
My favorite band is Sikth and their Awesome \M/
I love how 25:11 thru the end of the song even the security looked over and was impressed.
fuck me they're good live
the security dude at the front is hating it :)
Id like to point out they are my favourite band thisbwasnt a hateful comment, but you see his face in certain parts is golden
Bassist stole the show
DAN LOOORD
i noticed something interesting is it a trick pulling on your shirt constantly to achieve higher register vocals???lol
Can someone explain to me what records have had which vocalist? People keep talking about a new guy but they sound exactly the same I swear (not Mikee I know he’s always been there)
Lucas Salley newest album has this vocalist. The rest are Justin Hill
The Future In Who's Eyes? has the newest vocalist. Opacities is the last piece of work with the older singer.
Great performance but ive said for a while now why hit notes recording that you wouldn't be able to hit live?
You try touring for days (or weeks, or months) on end, having to put your voice on the line every single night to sing for people like you. Studio recordings are there to feature the best the band has to offer on the table. The live shows are there for your entertainment and aren't subject to 100% accuracy as on the record. Depending on the style of music they could deviate or even play in different keys, which is not common to metal music (As fas as I know of). Let alone the adrenaline of playing in front of hundreds of people, speeding through songs.
Anyway, your comment lacks common empathy. Think before you write.
@@Psychograce93 right back at you, this isn't the vocalist that's on the record.
@@rsaldivar8 Weak point, "right back at you" is not strong in the face of the truth Nools just doled out to you.
Much respect, as a vocalist myself...most of the attention/pressure is on the lead vox. Anyone that knows it sees the virtue in getting most of music like this correct. The live raw vibe is amazing here.
Notice how you acknowledged it as being a "great performance"? Why is that not enough? The rest of your comment is honestly something that I would expect to see from one of those die-hard "born in the wrong era" Zeppelin fans trying to critique a modern pop artist's performance. C'mon, you should know why vocalist oftentimes can't reach those highest notes they record on a studio record.
They are not actually recording a live performance in the studio. They are using top quality in-ear monitor headphones, in a temperature controlled room, where they have plenty of time to record several takes. They can have do-overs. They don't have to record a single track from beginning to end in one go, let alone an entire album's worth of material like they do when they perform live. Stamina is not a factor when recording. They don't have to worry about stage presence. They aren't running around, exhausting their bodies in an attempt to get a crowd energized and engaged.
Sick group of musicians. Always felt like the crappy vocalists held them back. Sack those clowns off and just do instrumental sets. 👍
The vocalists are the whole reason this band can never be matched in the djent / prog metal scene dude
LOL! The vocals are amazing. They are my favourite band for expecially that reason
