So in this model. It's depend where is your axes direction. It can created an "instances to vary". In this model it was on Z. If I create an axes along X or Y direction. It would came out difference. Depends which dims you pick to make "instances to vary".

Yes, it can be done on inventor but some of it can't work on autocad
