Bought refills/extras of toothpaste, hair spray, and moisturizer and face serum this morning to save my husband from having to purchase these items for me while I'm rehabbing. Have cleaned bathrooms and wiped down all cabinets and hardware. I still want to check for t.p., lotions and soaps. Thanks for Monday motivation. Be well.
I am considering moving around some of the focus days. I am usually gone to town all day Wednesday and Thursday. I am thinking of switches Tuesday and Wednesday so I am not using the fact that I am gone as an excuse to avoid my anti procrastination day. Also, I love how you remind us in all your videos to set a timer so we don’t get sucked into RUclips land for hours and not get off our bottoms. I always look forward to Monday’s now because I know that is when you upload videos.
It snowed this morning in the UK, it's all gone now. But it was a bit of a surprise, especially as the nonessential shops open for the first time in nearly a year.
I love fresh start Mondays! Today is garden day, five shrubs and one little tree to be planted. Beginning herb division. Not time for seed in ground yet. Got the clean sheets on this morning and running the wash. Dusted down the house, will do a quick mop in a bit. Snow and hail yesterday! Tonight is a southern US dish, Country Captain Chicken. All my upstairs windows are freshly cleaned. I still have to get the three basement ones when I am in that zone.

I have to get up in the middle and go do something (today I went to try out my new BarKeepers Friend in the kitchen sink -- lovely result!). Besides giving a needed new thought about Monday, you make life seem so interesting. So many lovely things to work at and to enjoy! What a lift you shared today! Very grateful for you!
I haven't been doing too badly this week with keeping up with things around the house. We have been continuing to get outside for walks a few times a day with the doggies. The dogs have a way of letting us know to get off our bahookies and get them outside, especially Kessler. Sugar tends to be a bit more lazy. 😊
Thank you. I needed a little motivation today. We had my granddaughter’s 2nd birthday party at my house this weekend and I was a bit worn out. After everyone leaves, I like to vacuum and clean up the bathroom so I feel I’ve done a bit extra already. But here I go, a new week and a special anti- procrastination project planned for Wednesday. 🌞🌸💜
I miss seeing you more often. I'm not as good on Instagram Sorry. Your enthusiasm and coaching really helps me. I've gotten in a funk and seeing you this morning helped. I have always loved Monday's. Reset or Recover either way it's a good day. However. I need to get back on the fly lady band wagon. Having a purpose and routine helps so much. Anti Procrastination day: Have ironing to do this afternoon! Too cold with rain so not much of a garden day for us. Will have to reschedule the basement windows til another day. Two errands are planned for tomorrow. Hope your week is going well.

I’m on vacation now for the next two months visiting my son. His daughter will be born this week, my first grandchild! When I get back home I look forward to using the Flylady system. I find the routine comforting.
The name, "dressing gown" makes me think of Cinderella at the ball..getting all dressed up in her ball gown! We call it a "bathrobe" which tells what it literally is..a robe that you wear in the bathroom, haha! European names are SO fancy, aren't they? Spring has arrived here in full; we have hit over 70 degrees F many days so far, but often it is still in the 60's F right now :) Picked some Dogwood and Redbud blossoms for the porch and have spray painted a wrought iron wee side table to set beside our bench for hygge reading time!
Also Diane, in your wedding picture (woohoo for 23 years!) are you standing on the chairs? So the standing on chairs is not just a New Years Eve tradition?
