i'm literally so grateful for what Zach said at the end about Nina; Ian was so rude about it knowing that nina really did make the show what it is but zach sort of grounded the whole conversation and made it so sweet
Zach has my heart for making it clear how the show would be absolutely nothing and incomplete without Nina. How can they forget that Nina is the main plot and always will be, yeah she left but she was and always will be important.
In one of interviews Nina said that Zach is her favorite member of a team, he's such a sweatheart, as well as his character. Ian disappointed me, he does it too often lately honestly. I know, it's an old interview, it doesn't change the point. I mean, i know, you guys broke up, it hurts, but can you just respect a little bit the woman who you dated about three years? She always says good things about him, let's just don't forget the reason of their breakup, of which you can't blame her, she wasn't ready to create a family, and Ian just started to date with her friend. Does he consider himself a cool man? Well, he's not, he behaves like a kid, don't forget, he's 10 years older than Nina. Zach was the one who acted mature in this situation.

After she left he’s always been so rude in interviews about Nina and it’s completely unacceptable - you can even tell in this interview that Julie, Candice, and Kat were a little annoyed and were feeling awkward because of him smh. But at least Nina is as classy as ever about the situation !

You can see the awkwardness of them all when Nina’s name was brought up , actually sad on how they didn’t reflect on how much she’s given to the show. She was really interesting to watch as Elena , Katherine , Amara & Tatia , all which have such a huge role in the storylines.

The fact Kat Graham took her first swig of alcohol when the Nina conversation started like clearly knowing this is gonna cause drama made me laugh so hard.
At 10:38 "I'm sorry?" You can tell that Julie is completely done with Ian's bullshit, and then he goes on by saying shit like "I thought we had a conversation?" as if his opinion matters on what's going to happen in the finale. Zach said it best at the end and Ian needs several seats.
You're completely right Ian is being completely petty and selfish he doesn't want Nina back on the show and to be honest I think it's only because it hurts him and he's scared of what scenes they might have to shoot together but he is being extremely unprofessional and he doesn't get to decide what happens next Julie does that's why she is his boss.

He really is bitter and I just can't understand why because the poor girl never did anything to him she just wasn't ready to settle down and now he decides to act so cruel towards her like if he doesn't love her at all when in reality the reason he's acting this way is because he still loves her and can't admit it
Maylin Lazo Ian was somewhat tolerable through mid 2014, then he became the asshole he is today, going to cons and saying condescending comments towards Nina and her character, acting like fans are always mixing private lives and storylines when he's the one being passive aggressive whenever they mention Nina and her character, I used to be a huge fan, now the mere thought of Ian Somerhalder makes me laugh and I'm like "what stupid thing as he said today?". A mess.
+Maxence I completely agree with you I just became a fan of the show and watched a ton of interviews from when they started the show till now and I have noticed his change in attitude and it's just ridiculous I don't get it. I hope that when she gets back she knocks some sense into him because he isn't acting mature at all at this point if I were the interviewers is be scared to even mention Nina or her character Elena but it is their job and the fans want to know so they must ask and I completely understand them.

titanicmovies well I guess we all have our different opinion on these things but for me I am gonna miss not having a full season because it is the last in the series and I have a feeling that they may try and rush this season and wrap it up quickly but I could be wrong to say that.

I say this coz i've seen with these writers for 7 seasons.Of these 22 episodes,at least 4 to 5 episodes are useless fillers which does not progress the storyline in anyway and the cast attends some kind of lame ball/party/rover...you get the deal.Also besides Ian & Paul,everyone has signed a contract to appear for 17 episodes per season,that's being MIA for 5 episodes.Now with 16 episodes,everyone will be present for each and every episode.As for rushing the storylines,i don't think that's gonna be a problem at all.Steroline arc has reached it's logical conclusion.Once they take care of the final big baddie in hand and rescue Damon & Enzo,that's happy ending for Delena & Benzo.Only trick is how are they gonna bring Elena back without killing Bonnie.Kai did not leave any loophole in that sleeping spell so that's gonna be a real challenge but i'm sure they'll be bale to deal with it in time.Have faith and i'm sure they'll deliver.
your right but tbh the reason as far as I am concerned why tvd went down hill was after kevin left and then Caroline Dries started writing for the show and the writers ruined some of the characters for me and they were to focused on the saving elena thing and all that stuff. 12:24 Zach Roerig, I love you. Zach said the thing I wished someone on the cast would mention. We all want her back for the finale season because she was the main character and made this show what it is. She introduced us to this world and to the other characters, so it wouldn't be right to say goodbye to this era without her being in the finale season. Maxence Honestly! I feel bad for Nina if she does come back for the finale for having to shoot a Delena moment with him. I know right? Every time Nina, Elena or Delena is brought up he's always shutting it down with a stupid comment or he screws his face with disdain. Gone are the days that I was a fan, the bitterness and silliness took over him.
+Al Parish maybe he wants to move on from that part of his life. You know? There is nothing wrong with that. He doesn't want him and Elena together, he doesn't want to make out or film a sex scene (because that is what they would do) with Nina because he is over it. Because he doesn't ship Damon and Elena and because he is married and he has a wife and he doesn't want to be associated with Nina because he wants to move on with his life. There is absolutely nothing wrong with any of those things (if it is, in fact, how he feels). However, it does not take away that he is an ACTOR. This is his JOB. He doesn't get to pick and choose because he doesn't run this show, Julie does. And it's not Julie's fault that his relationship with Nina ended so bitterly. That's all on him. The characters are top priority, not the actors' private lives.

It's been years and he is the one acting like a immature kid. You can see he was making everyone uncomfortable with his comments. Even Julie was like excuse me and cut him off after he tried to say what goes. He only started acting this way after him and Nina broke up and he got married. You think he'd move past it already. Everyone else has been respectful and he is out there acting like a jerk repeatedly. Paul, Candice and Kat look annoyed. He is an actor and he doesn't get to decide how the plot goes. That's not his job so yeah people have a right to be annoyed by Ian's childish behavior.
