Nina brought out such a special side of Ian that I haven't seen Nikki bring out in him. Ian used to be so fun and resembled Damon in an amazing way when he was with Nina. Now he's all serious, I'm not saying this is a bad thing, but I'm just saying that I really miss the Ian that he used to be with Nina.
That is also because he is now 41 so he has matured. It is hard for people to keep on having the same humor as they used to have when they were this much younger.

I'm just saying that he was a little more open and cheerful when he was with her. You know actually I think the age difference thing is kind of beautiful.
