Let's go JT you got this
I’m doing STG as well!!! Wohoo!!
Awesome! Hope your training is going well!
Last little bit of training! You're going to do great. So many things that I'm bad at . . . But sleep is something that I should also be working on.
Wait you mean 6 hours isn't enough to sustain long term? 😅 Happy birthday!
@@JustinDoesTriathlon - Thanks buddy!
I have 1 of them is my weakness. Also stress
Agreed
All the best!
And to you Justin!
Happy belated Birthday mate, great week of focus chap
Thanks man!
Makes me wish that I was signed up and training for a triathlon. Love the focused feeling when you are training earnestly for an event. Thanks for sharing your journey to 70.3 St George.
Thanks for riding with me! Yeah, having an event *really, really* helps. I think I'm middle of the road on motivation in general, but having something to focus on really zones me in
Hey Justin (and anyone else reading this), what would be a good place to get advice about my running? I tried reddit but besides generic advice, I just didn't find what I was looking for. I am not part of any local running community either, because of some specific reasons. Basically all I wanna know is whether my progress is great or slow or perfectly normal. Going from obese to fit, there isn't great advice out there since most athletes have been fit for most of their lives, more or less. Well, at least not obese. The good runners on Strava don't really respond when I left questions in the comments... I think it's because my stats are really bad. I've been asking for advice for a long time with no luck.
That said, best of luck for your training, and for the raceI I hope you see this message when you return from your triathlon. Thanks!
I see you! I'll reply when I have a few minutes to really sit down and type it up
Happy birthday. Stay safe and have a smooth 4 weeks! Thanks for sharing your journey.
Thanks Nuno!
Those V02 and over unders on trainerroad are intense. Did Picket Guard a few days ago and thought I was going to die on the last interval.
I had to look that one up, that's a spicy one! 121 TSS is a big chunk in general, but especially broken out into O/Us too. Blech. I'll tell you though, nothing kicks my ass harder than those 3min @ 120 efforts. Just savage.
Happy Birthday.
Thanks Rob!
What a Great trail for MB!
Was amazing. It has some steeeep parts too, with some chunky climbing. Such a blast.
Totally off point, but that opening shot of the road with the trees looked perfect for a ride... and happy belated Bday! 🍻
🍻🍻🍻 PacNW has long, ugly winters and shoulder seasons, but once the sun hits? 💯💯
@@JustinDoesTriathlon lol... I love it up there... my son (when he was getting recruited by UW) and I used come up for weekends during football season... debated / debating moving to the Seattle area when I retire (in another year or two)...
Do it! Get ready for 5 AMAZING months and 7 blech months, but totally worth it.
