finally after about 25hours of editing my 100k special is done ✅ 30minutes real talk about me, the guy from the country side, who somehow had the plan to become a graffiti artist 😂😂 - in a world of wood, chainsaws, farmers and craftsmen... yes... this story is pretty weird... i never thought that much about the past, to be honest... but somehow i managed it... i noticed that i never had a regular job after ending my apprenticeship as a toolmaker right after school... somehow i was always an artist... i talked so much that i had to cut out some parts, to make it not look too sad 😬😬... this was travelling in time. my best video so far.... some nice feedback is always welcome - if you got any questions - please write a comment! I answer a lot of them!

Congratulations 'SMOE' from the UK, unlike you i chose the boring normal day job. In 1984 i sprayed my first piece in a park at 3.a.m but then left college and got a job... been doing bits and bobs whenever i can, now I'm 52 but since subscribing to your channel you've inspired me to get painting again even if it is just inside my garage when i get a spare couple of hrs to myself.
Maybe if in a few months I'll get ONE subscriber 😂

Oh, I nearly forgot, the piece is so good. The wings and the "arrow house" give the letters something special. I also loved the "floating pointed mountain, it's strange but interesting.
You've done better color combinations (for my taste) but I think you achieved what you wanted and the message is really clear. Nice style, details and clean lines, as always.

Damn you seriously deserve 10 million subscribers, I grew up in a gallery and my mom is a professional artist, I've loved art my whole life and been doing it since before I could walk, I've always loved graffiti probably more than anything else and yours stands out among the crowd by a long shot. Truly beautiful artwork, your style is so cool and plus you're a great dude, so fun to watch and great personality, you are perfect for youtube, there are many people on here far less entertaining than yourself with more subscribers so I think your channel will grow very quickly from now on ✌️😊 you deserve this after such a journey and congratulations on sticking with your heart and your intuition, many do not have the balls or courage or self understanding to do such a thing and even that deserves to be congratulated by itself as am achievement. Yes, I agree..That was a great story on your Journey in the Graffitti world...Not all of us had the opportunity to paint on Subway cars like the Pioneers of Graffitti did back in the 70' and 80's but we made the best of it...Congrats once again and I can't wait for you to hit 200K

SMOE NOVA yeah, graffiti is more excepted these days compared to when i was a teenager in NY. I was arrested as a teenager for graffiti, so i decided it might be good to give it up since I didn’t like being locked up! 😂 but I’m glad you stuck it though! Beautiful art!

Ich komme aus Berlin und bin eigentlich ziemlich neidisch auf den Werdegang, die Dorf-heimeligkeit, deine Gartenwand (ich hätte ganz gern mal nen Garten!) und deine ziemlich perverse Can-control. Ich kreepel nach 20 Jahren hobbymässig malen richtig ab, gegen dich. Meine Sachen sehen immer noch aus, wie deine 15 Jahre alten (und ich bin trotzdem stolz drauf). Und mit "Neid" meine ich nicht "Missgunst". Schönes Video, schönes Pic und schön zu sehen, dass du wieder etwas positiver erscheinst, als bei den Entchen. BLEIB SO!

Just found you today, congratulations on 100k! I grew up in a tiny town before the internet & fell in love with graffiti at a young age. For a long time, I was the only writer in town. I wish I could say that I got good at it, but I never really did. I still love it though, and very much appreciate your videos. You are definitely among my favorite writers of all time. Tja, wo soll man bei so einem Bomben Video überhaupt anfangen? Ich muss mich erstmal strukturieren :D
Also das Video ist einfach nur klasse! Ich finde es so spannend und Interessant zu sehen wer die Person hinter Smoe überhaupt ist, wie alles begannen hat und wie weit du gekommen bist. Ich mag es sehr alte Styles von dir zu sehen, da man den Vorschritt über die Jahre erkennt. Da Konzept des Videos war ebenfalls Ultra Stark! Ich habe es sehr genossen von Storytelling und Kunst hin und her gerissen zu werden. Wirklich toll. Des weiteren finde ich es immer spannend zusehen wenn du mit anderen Menschen in Kontakt tretest und dann etwas über deine Kunst redest. Den Aspekt den du erzählt hattest, also das du lange Zeit mit deinem Hobbie alleine warst, fühle ich sehr. Heutzutage ist das durch das Internet leichter geworden denke ich, trotzdem fällt es mir auch noch sehr schwer in Kontakt zutreten die das selbe Hobbie vertreten. Ich finde es irgendwie schwer Anschluss in der Szene zu finden, weshalb ich noch eher alleine für mich so herkritzel.
So und nun zum Schluss noch eine Sache. Lass dir von der Gesellschaft und anderen Leuten nicht zu viel einreden. Du brauchst kein öden "Bürojob", dein Beruf ist die Kunst bzw.. es Künstler zu sein! Schwimm gegen den Strom und mach das was dir Freude bereitet! Du hast es geschafft durch so viele schwierige Situationen zu kommen, Probleme zu lösen, Fehler zu korrigieren und weiter zu machen. Du bist die ganze Zeit über Wasser geblieben und du bist so kurz davor dir ein so tolles Schiff zu bauen damit du nicht mehr schwimmen musst. ( Ich hoffe man versteht was ich damit suggerieren möchte) Kurz gesagt, du bist Stark und hast es geschafft deinen Traum zu leben/erfüllen mithilfe von so vielen tollen Menschen! Weiter und weiter!
P.S. Bei Gelegenheit kannst du mir gerne auf Instagram schreiben damit ich weiß wohin ich dein Schild schicken kann. Also nur falls es Zeitlich funktioniert, ich will dir damit auch nicht zu sehr aufn Keks gehen.

Smoe ist echt ein sympathischer Typ. Ich bin selbst nie richtig in der Graff Szene angekommen. Aber meine Liebe zur Kunst und zum writen hat mich immer zumindest privat weiter machen lassen. Ich bewundere deinen Mut gerade mit einer Familie im Rücken seinen Lebensunterhalt davon zu bestreiten. Das habe ich mich leider selbst mit Frau und Kind nie getraut. Deine Vids inspirieren mich gerade jetzt mit über 40 mehr denn je. Mach weiter so vielleicht läuft man sich in Warendorf mal über den Weg. PEACE
