Hi, the old type trams are driven by pedals, brake and traction. The newer types are controlled by left Hand with.

We have terrible corruption about getting of driver licences I think. Czech drivers are terrible, I am living in village and I see what they doing, I believe many of that "drivers" just bought licence.

0:25 The question is whether the driver indicated he was going to go to the left. Usually I hear the clicking of the indicator, which i can't seem to hear in this clip...
The clicking is there, it is just hard to hear with all the other noises, but it is there. But the car probably couldn't even see it at this angle. That's one of the reasons why the car isn't even allowed to cross the intersection like that from his side of the intersection. There's a sign at his side that says that he has to go the same way as the cars on the right. There's also another sign that explicitly prohibits going the exact way he is going.

Also, just to clarify: I tried hard to get a glimpse of the indicator's clicks but to no avail. I'm not saying that the driver definitely hasn't been indicating, since I have nothing substantial to go on, I'm just saying while in other videos one could hear it pretty clearly over the noises, i can't in this one. It _may_ be that the indicator wasn't used but it might as well be very quiet clicks being drowned by the noises as you said. Which is why I chose my words quite carefully in the opener :)

Stačí si položit na to tlačítko něco těžkého a máš obě ruce volné.
Říkám si to samé, když to tak pozoruji, já bych zvládl tak jednu směnu a pak Bohnice, nebo spíš Mírov 😂

I think they're just careless in the first instance - they seem to make attempts to quickly move once they realise what's going on. You don't get that with a truck, with 44t I can't stop as quickly as a tram yet people just move infront of me then give a finger lol.
Sometimes I wonder...How the heck did the worlds population ever reach 7.8 billion people.

Tipuju, že každý má seznání s tratí, každý zná všechny linky a když se něco stane (mimořádnost) tak se dispečer neptá, a prostě vás někam pošle :D
@@cetovac Seznání tratě je na drahách, ne u tramvají, ale dalo by se to nazvat podobně. V kurzu jsme si několikrát projeli každý úsek tratě a to ze všech směrů do všech směrů, pokud to samozřejmě výluky dovolovali. Takže jak říkáte, dispečer nás může např. odklonem poslat vlastně kamkoliv a já musím vědět kam přesně mám jet. Nicméně už třeba přes rok jsem nebyl v Ďáblicích, protože jednoduše naše vozovna nevypravuje linku která by tím směrem měla trasu, takže přiznám že si nepamatuji co je tam za zastávky, ale jet bych tam samozřejmě dokázal :).

1:14 - prosím, jezděte kolem těch sloupků pomalu, pokud již nestavíte, někteří lidé (podvědomě) předpokládají, že zastavíte. Je to i v zájmu cestujících uvnitř. Myslím, že zákon vám již myslím nařizuje 15 km/h?
Ale i to je někdy podle mě moc.
Jak koukám, na zemi bohužel chybí žlutý nápis "POZOR TRAM" s trojúhelníky.
Zákon to nenařizuje, vnitřní předpisy DPP jo. :D v některých městech v ČR tramvaje projíždí zastávky i rychleji.
A já osobně to vidím obráceně. Když manipulační jízda jede plnou rychlostí, tak ji nechám jet. Když vidím jak tramvaj do zastávky zpomaluje, tak si myslím že zastaví.

My father was tram driver in 90s in Prague and he's gone crazy from that. He has agressive nature, I don't understand how he could pass psycho tests. After some accident he just deny driving it again which was bad because he had much better salary than most of people in that time as tram driver.

Niektorým občanom chýba zdravý rozum a pud sebazáchovy. Ich prežitie ozaj funguje len vďaka schopnostiam ľudí okolo nich...V prírode by ich takéto správanie stálo život.

They just don't look, use common sense, figure YOU'RE going to stop every time, just don't care, they left their brain at home today, or all of these excuses. Some of these same people, actually ride with you!
I guess, maybe we have it all wrong, with having animals in zoos. Maybe we should put those dumb souls where the animals are, and let the animals out. We expect animals to dart out in front of us. Maybe we should think the same about people. Then, who's equal?
