The Ark's songs are not the same without the other members of The Ark. I don't want to see other musicians to play 'Calleth you...' and the other songs. These songs belong to Jepson, Leari, Sylvester, Martin and Jens too.
Ola is a disappointment to me.😢

I think that it's nice that the songs not going to waste with the band spliting up..and Ola have written most of the songs so he can do whatever he wants with them. If you don't want to see new performances of them, just look att the old ones! I think that Ola have picked out very good musicians and dancers for this show...It's different, it's not The Ark, but its good. And the other members from the Ark are represented in it as well..

We have different opinions, but that's life, no problem.
For me Ola betrayed and replaced his childhood friends, the people, who stood behind his back for more than 20 years.
It's not a nice story, and it isn't just my opinion.
Ola's solo career was a disappointment (Please don't mention tv-shows, it's not about music and new projects).
So he turned back to the good, old Ark-cash-cow to milk it a little bit more.

@@annemondi I don't know much about what happened, other than they split. I do not speak Swedish, so I do not know the reasons for the band breaking up and I haven't been able to find many info in English.
Are you from Sweden and/or do you know a bit more about what happened and if Ola is still in contact with the other band members? I would like to think it was a friendly split so they could all pursue personal projects, and that they're all still in touch, but something tells me that's no the case.

@@0Xss0fr I`m also not Swedish (I`m from Germany) but I know and follow the Ark since 2003. I visited the show in Göteborg with a friend. As far as I can judge the Band splittet in friendship and they are still close friends and supporting each other. Thats what I can see on their Facebook page, in interviews etc. And also during Olas Musical the other band members where part at one song on screen. This was produced for the musical- wasn`t an old recording.
I realy wish the band will make a reunion and that it is possible to visit a The Ark concert again in the future. But Olas show was great even with other musicians. It was fantastic to feel the spirit of The Ark and listen to the songs and Ola live.

Hi, I'm not a gossip girl. Let's think it was a friendly split, it's better for me too. But...Ola wanted a solo career, wanted to forget his old "crazy self", the Ark-times, to start something new. Honestly, it wasn't very succesful. His solo album was boring, he's not the same artist without the band. I think he realized it, and returned to the old Ark songs. To start a new chapter is OK. To go solo is OK. He has right to sing the Ark songs, but, honestly, it's not very elegant. The other guys worked very hard for the success of the Ark as well. And now: "These new musicians are the best"...??? Where were they, when Ola was just a struggling noname musician? It's not about "rights", it's about moral. Ola can run, sing, jump on the stage, he can dress as he wants, he is not the same person anymore. He's not, because Ark was about friendship too. Their story was a rock-saga, this story is a money making effort. With big show, dresses, effects, dancers, marketing, but there's no soul in it. It's just my opinion, I can accept that some fans adore Ola still. It's their opinion. I loved the Ark very much, but it's just the echo of the original spirit of the band. Empty. Are old friends, bandmates replaceable? Really? I find it very sad.
