I love Pokemon Mystery Dungeon so much, everytime i hear pretty much any Music from the series i get sentimental, and just wanna play them again.... I started out with Time, when i got it on Christmas along with a few other DS Games, i was 3 at the time and didn't actually play the game for months because i wasn't and still am not a great fan of the Mainline Pokemon Games, but when i finally got around playing it, it was a blast, i played all the way until Temporal Tower after like 2 months (Because i was really bad.) I stopped playing after failing about 50 or some times, and i remembered the game series as trash just for that experience. Luckily, a few years later when i was 11, i was bored and decided to replay some of my old DS Games, including Time. I started a new game, and played all the way back to Temporal Tower, and it was once again a blast, and this time, i even understood the Story, i got really attached to my Partner, and even made a drawing in one of my School Notebooks (Which looked trash, but i still have it to this day.) And this time, i made it through Temporal Tower the very first try... Well i had about 10 Reviver Seeds but still. I finally got to see the end of the Main Story after 8 years of hating the Series for dumb reasons, and i cried throughout the entire Night. I also played through the After Story afterwards, which took like 2 days, which was also a hell a lot of fun. And then it began, i played the beginnings of Blue Rescue Team on an Emulator (I didn't have enough pocket money at the time for the game, but desperately wanted to play it.) It was a blast again, i did realize the improvements that were implemented in Explorers, but i still enjoyed it, i didn't play the Post Story Content this time, and moved on. About 2 years later, i finally heard about Sky, i always thought it was just like Darkness and Time, but heck no it wasn't. Emulator 2, eletric boogalo, and i played through the entire game in just shy of 3 days, and it was a blast. I was in a really bad state at the time, i wasn't happy with my Life and situation, and was skipping school on mass, but after i played Mystery Dungeon, i felt a bit happier again, and stopped skipping school... for one week, i eventually got over this Phase with the help of my Father, but i still believe to this day that Sky did help at least a bit aswell. I eventually also got to playing Gates of Infinity, and Super... And the reveal of DX was insane, i went apeshit for the entire day, called half my friendlist on Discord just to tell them about it, and after it finally released, i played it for over 200 hours at this point. Anyway, this comment is already way too long... TL;DR: PMD is Good.
This was lovely, especially with the music on, thank you so much for sharing your story! I hope your life is going better now, I'm so glad PMD ended up being such a special part of it for you!
PMD2 will always be my favourite Pokémon game. The story, the music, the gameplay. They got so much right that recent Pokémon games just can’t seem to nail
I haven't heard any of the DX remastered music yet, so hearing Mt. Blaze Peak just sent me to another world. It's so soothing and it still has that warm feel that it did in Blue Rescue team when I was little.
Even if Super and Gates weren't that amazing, I still love them for just being Mystery Dungeon Games, and the sheer quality of care that was put into a lot of the attention to detail, music, etc. is fantastic. One of the best franchises to grow up with and I will never forget what these games did for me.
I'll definitely defend Super Mystery Dungeon. It has some pacing issues, but I think the story is still quite good. And I also think Super had the best partner in the series. I also don't mind the connection orb since I didn't really care for the randomly generated missions anyway. (Though I do wish you could recruit pokemon separately from the connection orb) I also think Super Mystery Dungeon's soundtrack is on par with Explorers, even if it has a completely different feel.
I remember playing red rescue team back In my emulator. I was 11 12 something and since I live in India, where games were way costly at that time, I couldn't afford it but the fact of being a pokemon and going out adventuring peaked my interest so much that I HAD to play it. Not playing pokemon mystery dungeon was a biblical sin for me. I was a diehard fan of Pikachu and I remember answering questions in a way that I'd become Pikachu and squirtle was my partner. Not only was having a blast with the gameplay and exploration but the story also caught me off guard with how good it was and it just kept on getting better and better. Before I know it, I'm attached to all the pokemons, the lore world and the story. I remember how after websites rayquaza, all the pokemons including my partner found out that I wasn't even a pokemon and almost as if came down as an avatar of Vishnu to save the world but in the process, got attached to all the people too. Right while I'm disappearing, all the pokemon, including me, a human, came to terms with the conclusion that being a pokemon or a human isn't what makes you a good person. It's the heart and the will to do good even when the whole world is against you and sticking to your guts until the very end is what really counts. I felt bad knowing that I had to bid farewell and go back to my own world until I realized that I became so attached to the world, that I just had to come back. I just couldn't leave them. After everything we went through. I couldn't leave squirtle. It was a happy ending that made sense and that doesn't even count the gigachad endgame they had for the post-game content. Even to this day, pokemon mystery dungeon is one of the best pokemon games ever made and that's saying a lot cuz it ain't even the mainstream games. Just like somebody else before me said, for a pokemon game, it sure felt very human
Mystery Dungeon Explorers has one of the best soundtracks out of any game I have listened to, and I'm so happy I revisited the games recently, absolute works of art
When I replayed Gates to Infinity this year, i cant believe i forgot so much of the game! It was like re-experiencing the game. Its actually a pretty cool game! The soundtrack so wonderful, and very underrated! I hope the series doesnt end at DX! Theres more potential for future PMD games!
Thank you for this playlist! Really made my night and almost teared up from all the memories I had with Mystery Dungeon. That is why for those who are reading the comments here, I have one special message for you all: Keep Exploring. Keep finding the mystery of what makes life so meaningful and have fun while doing it! There are tons of people, much like how in the Mystery Dungeon series there are Pokemon who need help, and so like the Pokemon we were in the games, let us help those in need in the real world! Keep experiencing the joys, the sadness, the anger, and the beauty that is the one true Mystery Dungeon that is called Life. Love you all to 120 forever and always!
When I was 8 I lived in California and everyone loved Pokémon. That year we moved to Florida and everyone hated Pokémon. I never even got to finish Pokémon red or watch the show past season 1. I just beat Pokémon red, and am on Sino League victors in the show. I will play all the games and see every movie. It’s like part of my childhood was stolen from me
these games are very special to me because of my Very imaginative mindset while playing them. i remember i actually envisioned in my head the fights that would Happen. Ever sense i was a kid i would pretend like every exploration i went on in the mystery dungeon games were all kind of like anime arcs. i would make up a story about the events on what happened and The pokémon i brought. i also made up a PMD head cannon when i was a kid. basically i would choose whoever i wanted As my main characters in red and blue rescue team. then i would think of Explorers of sky as a prequel and would make my partner from red and blue rescue team The main character of explorers of sky and my partner would be riolu. I would do this so that i could pretend That the Partner from the first game was a descendant of the main character from The first game and the partner riolu was the legendary hero akazam talks about in the first game. then in Gates to infinity i would pretend it takes place the same time as Pmd 1 and I would pick Oshawott and axew because they are my favorites. then when super mystery dungeon came along I would choose oshawott and Riolu to Basically combine the two Stories. Basically i though of mystery dungeon as one huge story and put the pieces together To make it make sense.
I completed the main story of PMD : Explorers of Darkness a few months back. And honestly, I cried. I loved the game, the story, the characters, and my partner. This game has been the best 60 hours of my game time, and I will finish this game.
How is the game overall? I only played the original and Explorers; I tried the Gates of Infinity, but the story didn't captivate me enough like Explorers had, so after few hours I stopped and just played Explorers again. Hadn't even tried Super as I figured that same would happen ^^;
@@catxborsuq1 i'm currently playing it and am about half-way thorough i think, but so far I can say that I'm thoroughly enjoying it. First part is a little slow and in many's opinion is the weakest, but I found it nice due to its carefreeness. At the moment the plot is deepening and it's more engaging, I have a feeling it will not let me down. Overall I would recommend it, the music is amazing and the characters are fun and there are A LOT of pokemon to befriend. The most disappointing thing imo is there isn't the traditional mission board. Anyway, do not apprach it expecting it to outdo Explorers, because it will most certainly will not, but that doesn't mean the fun isn't worth it :)
@@catxborsuq1 I agree with what both are saying, and I also have absolutely fallen in love with Super! ^^ I can definitely, wholeheartedly recommend it~!
@@catxborsuq1 my take on Super Mystery Dungeon is the story has some pacing issues, but I think its still pretty good. I personally liked the school setting for the first third of the game, but I understand people not liking it, and it does drag on a little long. I ended up really liking the partner character throughout the game. Gameplay wise Super has a lot of nice QoL updates that make me like its gameplay better than explorers. A big sticking point for some people though is the connection orb, which basiaclly replaces both requests and recruitable pokemon. Basically there's no randomly generated quests anymore and the quests you do get are linked to recruiting pokemon (you can recruit every single pokemon that was released at the time Super came out so every pokemon is available, but you can only recruit one of them unless there's a variation like from a gender difference or seasonal variant, you can get the variations as well). As far as post game content, there is a short epilogue after the credits, but after that all thats left is completing the connection orb and collecting the various treasure items from dungeons. TL;DR: I think Super Mystery Dungeon is pretty good with a few minor issues that put it slightly below Explorers for me.
Say whatever you want about Gates, it's soundtrack is fantastic! (It's also a good game, it just isn't quite as good as Sky. Stop calling it "BAD", everyone! >:C) :P
@@dragonfyre8928 I didn't hate it, it's just my least favorite in the series, but it's still a pretty good game :) It's just that the rest of PMD is just that amazing! IMO: GtI
Had explorers of time, my first and last pokemon game to ever be played. Never finished the game, cuz the boss was too strong. But I'm glad I ever got to play it. This video gives me nostalgia I never had with the other osts of other games.
I don’t want to say goodbye is a song that makes me genuinely and unironically cry cause even without context it’s still an emotional song but with context it’s so damn powerful and heart wrenching
I still haven’t experienced the end of the game yet cause I’m stuck on Dialga but I have heard Don’t ever forget and in my opinion it’s the saddest piece of music I’ve ever heard and it makes me cry
I’m still stuck on Dialga in my play through of explorers of time but I do have sky and I plan on finishing that one eventually. I’ve also played Super mystery dungeon Gates and Rescue Team DX. The only Mystery dungeon games that I have actually finished is Gates and Super I’m stuck on Sky Tower in Rescue Team. Have you played any Mystery Dungeon games? If so what is your favorite to least favorite game?
Treeshroud forest is so nice and Noes town, both are my favourite! I also love “in the morning sun” and “beach at dusk” can’t remember if they’re on here on not. Mystery dungeon music is so calming and great quality 👍

How come you have only 325 subscribers ?? I thought this playlist was made by some professionnal or well-known music youtuber ! Like it's perfectly made, good playlist, 3 hours, time stamps, title on screen, only the images of the games titles so it isn't distracting, and you are caring to put only relaxing musics and not emotional ones to not cry ! It's perfect omg please make more
I always come back to this playlist when studying! the perfect amount of relaxing, not too distracting, and it's long enough that I don't need to keep changing what I'm listening to! such a fantastic series and the song selection here is just sublime.
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! I appreaciate every ounce of effort you put into this playlist, but sadly it's sooo underrated. At least know that I'll be listening to this a lot!
Thx for the awesome playlist! Listening to it while I'm writing college papers. Thoughts on a triumphant or inspirational PMD compilation? Or maybe even setting up a mega playlist of a large amount of the many remixes/reorchestrations of PMD music the fan community has made? I started out with Time, when i got it on Christmas along with a few other DS Games, i was 3 at the time and didn't actually play the game for months because i wasn't and still am not a great fan of the Mainline Pokemon Games, but when i finally got around playing it, it was a blast, i played all the way until Temporal Tower after like 2 months (Because i was really bad.)
I stopped playing after failing about 50 or some times, and i remembered the game series as trash just for that experience.
Luckily, a few years later when i was 11, i was bored and decided to replay some of my old DS Games, including Time.
I started a new game, and played all the way back to Temporal Tower, and it was once again a blast, and this time, i even understood the Story, i got really attached to my Partner, and even made a drawing in one of my School Notebooks (Which looked trash, but i still have it to this day.)
And this time, i made it through Temporal Tower the very first try...
And then it began, i played the beginnings of Blue Rescue Team on an Emulator (I didn't have enough pocket money at the time for the game, but desperately wanted to play it.)
It was a blast again, i did realize the improvements that were implemented in Explorers, but i still enjoyed it, i didn't play the Post Story Content this time, and moved on.
@@sofiskito9000 pmd is just one of those games where you cant get the full experience without the music. same goes for undertale and persona.
@@ilminafloof I totally agree!!
PMD changes lives.
I love this story. I’m convinced I could listen to you talk about PMD for days. Lmao 😂
Listening to Hidden Land ost, knowing whats coming after, always makes me cry. Very beautiful and nostalgic song, I really love it.
Ah yes... "it cant be" its so happy im so cheerful like im so relaxed
ahahahahah mood, the feels fr
It is relaxing though
Personally Pokemon mystery dungeon games are the best Pokemon games. The story the feeling these games have my god.
35:57 I played this game a lot when I was a kid and man I always loved the music when your on the waterfront. Such beautiful music and so nostalgic.
Time for another Sky replay... 18 completed PMD Sky playthroughs and I still can't get enough of it...
That's insane dude xD
I play sky once a year as a tribute to how good of a game it is. Sometimes more than once.
@@WesHeinz Same. I also play it every year.
I also have played it dozens of times and still enjoy it as much as the first time (or almost as much)
PMD2 will always be my favourite Pokémon game.
Pokemon Ranger, Mystery Dungeons, Conquest, Gale of Darkness.
Every Spin-off has its charm.
Even if Super and Gates weren't that amazing, I still love them for just being Mystery Dungeon Games, and the sheer quality of care that was put into a lot of the attention to detail, music, etc. is fantastic. One of the best franchises to grow up with and I will never forget what these games did for me.
Super WAS that amazing
Super is my favorite game in the series
Who says Super wasn't amazing? I actually put it as the best PMD
Oh that's pretty good! Nice playlist. Keep it up!
love ur videos captain o7
@@ahnadiri Thanks sir o7
All these songs put me to peace. Kinda wish there were people to play PMD with 😅
I remember when I was in elementary school, playing mystery dungeon until I physically couldn't stay awake any longer, and dreaming of these games.
At the very least give time/darkness/sky a remake like DX
This brings back something I can't forget
I completed the main story of PMD : Explorers of Darkness a few months back. And honestly, I cried. I loved the game, the story, the characters, and my partner. This game has been the best 60 hours of my game time, and I will finish this game.
Anyone else here from the copium withdrawal the presents gave us?
These games are and will always be gems with beautiful music that i'll always enjoy, particularly red/blue rescue team music tracks
omg ahhh this was posted on my birthday. also today I had my midterms and while doing my tests I listened to this
Appreciate ur great taste in music! Brings me back to my childhood- I used to be so obsessed with pokemon mystery dungeon back then
The PMD OST will always have a place in my heart^^ (Still awaiting for the day they'll remake Explorers of Sky into the Switch---)
There is just something special about PMD OST's that hits different in the nostalgia...
Thank you for this compilation ♥
I forgot just how good Super's soundtrack was
How is the game overall? I only played the original and Explorers; I tried the Gates of Infinity, but the story didn't captivate me enough like Explorers had, so after few hours I stopped and just played Explorers again. Hadn't even tried Super as I figured that same would happen ^^;
@@catxborsuq1 the first part may be a bit off putting but the game is off the charts amazing in the second half. Totally worth imo.
TL;DR:
I think Super Mystery Dungeon is pretty good with a few minor issues that put it slightly below Explorers for me.
No matter how much you listen, this soundtrack's always going to fill you with the feels. In many good ways
my childhood right here. pmd lives deeply in my hear forever💖
This playlist is a gem. Sympathy will always be my favorite
This is helping me get out of spiraling, thank you so much for making this. PMD is amazing and this is evoking some very happy memories.
I'm so happy that this is helping you! PLEASE go seek help if you need it! I don't want anyone hurting!
Say whatever you want about Gates, it's soundtrack is fantastic! (It's also a good game, it just isn't quite as good as Sky. Stop calling it "BAD", everyone! >:C) :P
Well when your competition is Sky you are gonna be regarded bad. Its still pretty good for a game.
Wait- People dont like Gates?
edit: Gates was the first Mystery Dungeon game i ever played, and i love it
@@dragonfyre8928 I didn't hate it, it's just my least favorite in the series, but it's still a pretty good game :) It's just that the rest of PMD is just that amazing!
IMO: GtI
My only problem with gates was that it was too short
@@1hyperlethalboi593 I think that's what it might've been for me as well, now that I think about it
Had explorers of time, my first and last pokemon game to ever be played. Never finished the game, cuz the boss was too strong. But I'm glad I ever got to play it. This video gives me nostalgia I never had with the other osts of other games.
Just heared and remembered tracks i haven't listened for years...that helped me relax, thanks for this playlist!
Ive listened to this so many times that I almost know the playlist by heart. Thanks for making this compilation!
@@carissaw5217 so how did it go?
I’m still stuck on Dialga in my play through of explorers of time but I do have sky and I plan on finishing that one eventually. I’ve also played Super mystery dungeon Gates and Rescue Team DX. The only Mystery dungeon games that I have actually finished is Gates and Super I’m stuck on Sky Tower in Rescue Team. Have you played any Mystery Dungeon games? If so what is your favorite to least favorite game?
One of the only games to make me cry, explores of time and then again in the 3DS game.
Which 3ds game? Gates to Infinity or Super?
21:22 this song is use in my favourite comic dub the eeveelution squad
Back when times were so simple, im crying 💔
Sympathy Explorers is so. It makes me cry.
i love hope light arrangement 3. its like a peaceful town where theres no more danger at all. everything is at peace
A magic game, an unforgettable experience.

(if yes, dont forget Lower Brinecave xD)
If this get's enough support, then I will totally consider making more!
Ooh that’d be awesome!
@@Beaster565 Aww, agreed!
Treeshroud forest is so nice and Noes town, both are my favourite! I also love “in the morning sun” and “beach at dusk” can’t remember if they’re on here on not. Mystery dungeon music is so calming and great quality 👍
This is the best music of PMD
Thank you for making this! One of the best Mystery Dungeon music compilations I've found, combining the music from all the games. It really helps when trying to study or when working on homework, thanks for making this!

Relaxation Playlist but this dude hit me with A Wish For Peace.
*sadness.*
Dorrito really enjoys that sweet playlist, thinking back to when he played those games himself! What a loyal horse!
It's perfect omg please make more
The first one and I'm already on a feels trip
so beautiful, so many memories...

literally a few seconds in and I'm already crying. agh.

You all are spreading so much love. It’s truly heartwarming. Thank you!
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! I appreaciate every ounce of effort you put into this playlist, but sadly it's sooo underrated. At least know that I'll be listening to this a lot!
