I appreciate your attention to detail because you love this hobby that's why it takes me so long to do the simplest things because it has to be the way I want
I love the dual antennas I had that on my tamiya frog

That is stunningly beautiful. I never imagined this car in hot pink. Its amazing though but always happens to me too late when i see a custom paint scheme. Its too late for me because i always go with box art. I suppose i could always buy a second body shell.i own a Super Hot Shot and did box art but went with a super stock RZ motor and 13 tooth pinion and a 2 S lipo battery. I also replaced the Tamiya wheels with Schumacher tires and wheels to preserve the Tamiya wheels. Mine gets 44km/h or thats around 27 miles per hour. Faster than a Kyosho Fazer Chevy Camaro with brushed motor. I also have an original Hot Shot with the same motor and full bearings and a 2024 Hot Shot ( the black one not block head) . Yours is awesome came out beautifully 👍👌

It definitely adds a lot more thought process to the build to come up with non-box art themes, but box art can be its own challenge!

Great video! I appreciate the insert edits (Napoleon dynamite ect.) And found myself laughing a few times. I know what you mean about the stigma associated with the hobby but I'm finally at a place in my life where I can comfortably say, "Hi my name is David and I like building and playing with toys"😂. My wife has decided that there are worse things I could be spending my money on. I've tried to get my kid into it but after she drove her Arrma Vortex into my shin at full speed I'm not going to force her to run them anymore. 😵. Cheers!

Thank you! Yeah, my vices are few, but RC is one of them.

On the subject of shock absorbers, i had the suspicion that the driveshaft angle is very restrictive and needs to be relaxed. Like the shocks are too long but the car still needs the ground clearance. I reckon the driveshafts need to be more horizontal. Beautiful build here 👌👍

Thats an awsome paint job 👌 i had a super hot shot and loved it, but sadly i had to move it on, i fitted a different motor and put the GT into my grasshopper 2 😂

I bet that Grasshopper 2 ripped with the GT motor in it.

Paint the eyeballs with gloss white and use water-slide eye decals.

Vids are awesome. If you could own only one of the four hot shots released which would it be and why? It's done my head in trying to figure this out for myself. With sway bar set ups differing between kits, the SS with its included hop ups and shock set ups. And why was the HS2 released after the SS? You don't have to answer if I've started a headache. See your doctor if pain persists

The Super Shot with the full four independent suspension is the one that seems most capable for actually driving.

Nice Build! I wonder if there is any handling difference between the stock shocks and the new ones.

I don't think I am a good enough or consistent enough driver to really be able to tell the difference... but at least it looks cool?
