@@johnsrcstuff7936 don't think the style motor I use will fit in The Avante cos of the shape of the motor not being small at the opposite end to motor shaft. Chassis top deck gets in the way.
Great build! Good ESC motor combo too. I've been running Hobbywing stuff on my cars for quite a long time. Only issues have been like 2 broken fans due to rocks/dust.
That's a very nice build. Hope that in the future will make a similar video, but then with the new hotshot 2 blockhead. Or can the same tuning parts be used?

I was going made looking for that B7 part!!! Thank you so much
LOL glad you found it. It's a hard one to find.
That motor and esc combo is really nice
Yerrhh I put it in all my Tamiya. Performs well but isn't too much. Although the silver can purists wouldn't agree. 😄

Just subscribed, nice build Paul. Finally someone has put a brushless motor in a Tamiya, fantastic.
I think they deserve it and handle it pretty well tbh. Thanks for the sub. Welcome to the channel Eric.
Another great build Paul. 👍
Thank @Dan. I'm glad people like these as I really enjoy the building side of RC.
Awsome build and run that thing is really moving with that max 10 setup I think I'm going to get the dark impact
I Have the same setup in my Sand viper. Yet to run it, but it seems to work well.

Another good thing about them is you get a spare fan in the box.
Wicked bash didn’t even think of these as a basher either
Well done Paul🎯💯
Cheers my friend.
That Doesn't Hang About 😱👏👏👏👏👍
I know. I'm really impressed with it.

ESC and Motor will fit in most Tamiya. Hope to get the BlockHead II at some point in the future. Cheers for tuning in my friend.

Very nice paul looks pretty powerful 😊
Yerhh Craig, well happy with it.
Which oil weight did you use for the dampers?
Hi. I used what comes in the box. The stock Tamiya oil. It is either soft or medium.
Did you find the rear gear box on the tight side?
Generally, yes. It gets better. I think they are known for it.
Dope! Great build bro!
Thanks man, Appreciate it!
Did the transmission handle that brushless motor without shredding?
All good so far TBH.
@@FullOnRC With the re-release of those old Tamiya cars... did they make replacement parts available? Are they cheap? Where are you buying them?
Looks great would love one of these
Yerhhh, broke it last run, but parts easy and cheap to find, Just put a 17tooth pinion in it too. Think stock is 15tooth. Thanks for tuning in. 😀

Is it worth the extra £over the Hot Shot? Great informative vid.
The super Hotshot is the better rc for sure. But if I had to pick one the super or the original I would go for the super.
