the man who makes people laugh uncontrollably, funniest sketch of all time, in my opinion. Palin sells it. this makes him technically the funniest person ever, if only for a moment.
Actually, it is Terry Jones who plays the part of the man who makes everyone laugh. Palin plays his boss who sacks him. Unless I misread your post, sorry if I did.
@@DaDitka Jones's part is obviously necessary to the sketch, but Palin's acting is brilliant. His expressions and inflections perfectly resemble those of someone trying desperately not to laugh. Look at the way he braces himself before Jones enters the room.
@and_the_first_last I probably misinterpreted the OP. And I agree, with the exception of Cleese's laugh, Palin was probably the funniest one in this sketch.
I like to think this is Graham Chapman's uptight Colonel character just snapping and deciding that if Britain is going to be as silly as Monty Python, then he might as well join in on the comedy to spite them. Also, the man who makes people laugh uncontrollably - does anyone else get the feeling he naturally releases some kind of nitrous pheromone? That would probably explain why no-one can look at or even listen to him without breaking down into laughter.
"Apart from the Marines, they're all dead butch" 😂

Graham Chapman at his brilliant best.
He was brilliant for sure.
And Edward Heath laughing in the end.
The Python skits were always a wee bit wacky/silly.. but still funny.
Lucky thing Mr. Horton didn't tell the Funniest Joke in the World - he'd have destroyed us all!
What happened to (at 3:24) Chapman singing "TONIGHT! TONIGHT! I'M GETTING *PISSED* TONIGHT!!!"
I always thought this skit needed more lark's vomit.

"What´s the Welshman doing under the bed? He´s having a leek"...Lost in translation...
Having a leek=having a leak (pee)
The leek is the national emblem of Wales
@@premanadi thanks! That helps
