Fan fact: in sly 3 in mission where have a flashback boss fight with panda king if used the photographer outfit you can trick panda into not attacking but you have to die with it on and if you take it off he'll attack you even you're behind him
I'm kinda upset my favorite guard, the Golden Retriever Dog Guard from Sly 3, isn't on the list, those guys are so funny, and yet so dangerous. They're dangerous because they can either slice your head off, or shoot you with a gun, since they're pirates and all, but their characters are so funny. Not only is their idle animation just them falling asleep, but there's Twitchy Ned that makes a funny chase mission, and Second Mate Jones, promoted to First Mate, who is just also comic relief lol. Though points were raised for the Paris Rats and Boars making the list (I think they're Boars, they're very pig-like)
I legitimately thought about Twitchy Ned and the retriever Pirate dogs at the last minute while rendering this video! They definitely deserved a mention!
Thank you for making my video suggestion Lancey! definitely one of my favorite videos you have made. Also an interesting thing I noticed when playing Sly 2 was that the jean Bison Ducks actually take more hits to kill than the rooftop guards from all the other chapters.
What I like about the Prague wolf guards is you get to fight a bunch of them in an epic battle like when Murray has to fight 50 of these guards which is really fun to do and one of my many favorite missions as well in sly cooper
The fact that Jean Bison is inducing so much fear in to his gaurds is giving me that Stalin vibe beautiful story writing Thank you my brother for these videos man i'm a always support you and watch more of your sonic comics bro👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
10:30 AYYYYYYY, THEY MADE IT!! I knew fanboying about something enough times would eventually yield a positive result! Nah, but in all seriousness man, fantastic list as always and great picks. I will say you definitely enhanced my perspective on the Mooses, I almost always forget that the stuffed moose head found during the RC mission has a possible connection with what Jean Bison said about the "judge from last year's competition" so, yeah, the fact that they might serve him out of fear is definitely within the realm of possibility. God, it is such an awesome feeling when you go back to a game that you liked or even loved before and discover new little details about it that you might not have before and said details give you a new appreciation for it as a whole, if not a certain part of it at least, that Is the best.

I agree with you 100% on the Bulldogs from Sly 1. Those Bulldogs from Mesa City are insanely overpowered. Once they lock on to you it's over. As Bentley said “They hunt like a pack.”

The one thing you didn't mention about those bat enemies, in Sly 2. They do have wings, and they can "fly" and like "dive" to hit you. Even when you are on a roof and he is on the ground below.
Great picks slylancey, I knew it would mostly be the guards from sly 2 also lol 😂 But I’m surprised you didn’t include a few other guards in the honorable mention section like the squid and Star throwing walrus and the voodoo juju weasel all in sly 1 and the pigeon from opera of fear, the 3 guards in rumble down under, the pig mechanic in flight of fancy, the big pirate dog and the golden retriever pirate dog in dead men tell no tales and the 3 mutant guards in honor among thieves in sly 3, those all could have been in the honorable mention section too if you think about it
The guards in 2 and 3 are by FAR the best and most memorable to me. 1 definitely have some good ones too (including the ones you mentioned), and 4 is easily the worst set for me lol
@@slylancey well some of the guards in sly 4 weren’t bad, for me at least lol And if we get sly 5 and sly 6 soon imagine what kind of cool guards we might get in the maps with the cool new villains

I think the guards from sly 1 vicious voodoo deserved an honorable mention just from the fact that they terrified me as a kid 😂
