OMG I thought the white pumpkin frame was a garlic frame.
Me too!
😂😂😂 loved the “Frozen” Let it go graphic 😂😂😂
I thought the wreath of pumpkins was garlic at first 😂
Fun video! You often make me laugh out loud. I loved the fabric.
Oh, and I think the children’s print fabric pieces were not vintage, but very nice new quality.
Wow! I have a sewing basket! I bought it when I was newly married & a garage sale queen! Perfect shape, honey toned wood!
I love the fabric and the white birds! Including the owl!
Thank you! 😊
You should pick up the blue glass vases. Always see red and green, but not blue.
Loved the fabric.
The cream platter with peppers/veggies I believe is Hearthstone Pottery. My sister used to sell it in her store. I have a mug, I’ve had it 25yrs, my favorite mug…same pattern as the platter ❤️
I’m so glad you picked up the children’s fabric, very vintage for sure, hope it sells fast for you!
I believe your vase tops are British Sterling with that lion in the center is a London Hallmark and the outside marks I can't really see them. Clean that area up a bit and you can research the marks. One could be a date mark
Thanks for the info!
@@FlyingPigThrifts you are most welcome! Now, someone else may have made the vases then had that company, whom ever they are, fit the tops with the sterling trim. There is a good site for researching British Hallmarks, I'm just not sure the exact name.
Those little pewter mugs, since they are Scandinavian, might be for schnapps!
Love the vintage print fabric. I have a piece of vintage duck hunting fabric that I have hoarded for years. I did line a sleeping bag for G.I. Joe for my son (many years ago!) and a Covid mask for my husband. Great shopping trip, as always.
Great video. My favorite was the witch and ghost set and fabric. Cross stitchers use the sewing boxs for floss on bobbins.
Statue of liberty is cool
What great shopping. The doves would be beautiful to use at a wedding or anniversary. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
egg cups. put the boiled egg in the small cup for table setting, and then when ready to eat, turn over and use the bigger cup for shells or as a bowl for soft-boiled eggs.
The small side of the egg cups is for hard-boiled eggs. The larger side is used for small pieces of toast and soft boiled eggs. My grandmother served eggs to us like this. I have over 45 egg cups now! ❤
We live about 4 hrs from the relocated London Bridge in Arizona. Fun to see something so far away
Hi Dagny, those look like sterling silver hallmarks, possibly English
Agree with you. The design and the hallmarks look English, as do the eggcups and the Copper Luster pitcher that were in the box with them.
I agree-I had a piece of sterling a while back and discovered the various British sterling marks. Fascinating and required a magnifying glass!😊
You missed a Rachel Ray dish near the blue glass- I don’t know if she’s collectable?
My Mom had a sewing caddy like that! With legs too- so long ago!!!
Those looked like British marks on the vases.
So I seen a blue velvet mele jewelry box! Right before the blue glass. I collect them where I am putting all my jewelry for my daughter... That one one sells for about 30-40$ if you ever see them again. I always buy them on ebay or out and about sourcing...
That material was super nice for a quilt🥰
Love the frosted squirrels so very sweet. Little sleeping, Charlie is so cute.
Glad you picked up the Halloween figures, they are adorable 😊
I have the witch tea light holder. I think it is partylite.
I have my mother in law's sewing box and it is in really nice shape. It does have the handle and legs, but not sure it's a Singer. I wiil have to go look later on.
Love the flock of birds. 😁💕
When I am out thrifting if I see a toothbrush holder I think of you!😂
🤣🤣🥰
Glad glad you got the Halloween duo, so cute and unusual.
The fabric with the lassos brought back childhood memories, that must be very old!
Your haul today was an amazing mixture, you definitely didn’t disappoint. 🥰 Thanks for sharing.
Take care Dagny. Good watching!!
LOVE the lamp and the flock of seagulls… lol.. I mean doves 💜
The Halloween Ghost & Witch are adorable! Thank you for another great video.
Grab the orange Weiner Dog planter!
Let it go 😂😂😂😂😂😂
At the store: I loved the cobalt blue travelling jewelry box that you put the London Bridge Arizona vase on top of. The Singer vintage sewing box was beautiful!! I bought mine years ago from a store called WIN(Women in Need) thrift store and I paid $5 for it, but we’re talking 25yrs ago. The legs and handle are attached and it’s light in colour. Love all the cobalt blue items that you saw!!
Your items: Right off the bat, I love the white birds!! I’ve seen them up on the wall and people have done wonderful designs of them flying around their plants, but up on the wall and it made it look so pretty. I love the metal leaves and flowers that you bought because I have some of those as well and I think it just makes the place so elegant. I like the age of the statue of liberty because I know that I used to see different lamps here in Canada of different places in the same kind of material with the same kind of plug-in, really cool. The egg cups are beautiful, same with the pitcher/creamer and I was so happy you bought the owl!!
Thanks for a great shop and have a great weekend!!☺️🛍️
Happy to see you bought the lamp in honor of CLL one of your buddies 😊
That is just a British hallmark for silver. The different symbols are for year & where it was made
Thank you!
Hello there Dagny!
I thoroughly enjoy watching your channel. You are such a sweet natured person.
I just have a quick inquiry--Whatever happened to that little etching you found of a well and a tree about 3 weeks ago?
Maybe I have overlooked it. I have been checking for it on you ebay store but I have been unable to find it for sale.
Okay. That was all.
Thank you.😊
Thank you for watching my channel! That etching sold already 🤗
Vintage fabric ❤. I have sold fabric that us washed. Just disclose.
Those metal wall hangings are fabulous
Thank you Dagney for another great thrifting video.
I just love your videos and the music you entered was lovely. The birds that hand on the wall were beautiful.
In the boxbwith the egg cups, the pitcher was English lustreware probably mid-1800's.
I am glad you got the ghost and witch.
Right off the bat, you found that adorable chipmunk piece. I have 2 of those, but I can not remember what the animals are on them. I think they're so beautiful!!! ❤
Nice quilting fabric. Haven't seen any "made for Hancock's" fabric in quite a while, think the stores closed about 2016. As a quilter, am always looking for quality fabric, & with fabric prices way up, always happy when I can find good quality, like you did, at the GW.
Awesome haul. Thanks for sharing.🍃🌼🍃
Those birds would look great hung up on a sun porch with lots of potted plants. That fabric looks like 1960's or maybe 50's. Its very familiar to me. I like that statue of liberty lamp. My brother read Mad Magazine in the 1960's then passed them to me.☺
I'm glad you picked up the Statue of Liberty. It's an easy re-wire or sell as is. Someone would have a nice little restoration project. That box you picked up of various things was awesome too (what a "steal"!).
Thanks Dagny! Nice finds. Love the fabric!
I think the white ceramic owl has my name on it. Will look great on my front porch.
love the lamp🤓
I love that owl!!!
Love the fabric !
The Nescafé world mugs are wonderful. The glass is thick so they don’t feel hot and they keep drink hot!
My dad who was an avid coffee drinker … like rarely drank anything else… had a set of those glass Nescafé world coffee cups… I have two of them … and pick them up when I see them… still love drinking out of them except for the fact they are kinda small lol… ❤☕️
We just found the coffee pot and 2 cups to go with our creamer and sugar. Would have loved those 4 cups
@@debyates3904 Now I’m on a coffee pot hunt!! Lol. The cups I see on occasion but not as much I used too… I love them!
Many quilters wash/iron their quilting fabric before cutting/sewing.
Halloween figures are so cute.
If you ever go back and it is still there, I love the Santa and Snowman platter and will purchase it from you.
It's amazing how much stuff you can get
That GW has good prices! 😊
At my local GW’s in NC they charge for each individual disc in Audiobooks…I love listening to them when driving
Wow! Great stuff on this trip. Those doves are so pretty. I enjoyed the video. Give barney a pat on the head for me. Happy thrifting
17:25 I’m not in any way an expert on this, but those marks look like silver hallmarks that are used in UK & Ireland. The one to the left is a letter. This indicates the year that the piece was assayed (the metal was tested to check it meets the sterling standard, and is stamped with these marks). The middle one looks like it could be the lion passant, which is the sterling silver mark. Is the third one a leopard’s head? That’s the mark for the London Assay Office, where is would have been tested and stamped.
To find out the year, you need to check the letter, its font and the shape surrounding the letter, as they work through the alphabet in one font (one letter per year) & shape and start from A(or a) again in another font and shape.
Are both of the marked with P (the first is hard to see). I’m probably totally wrong with this, but the font used for 1939 & 1864 looks like that P. I can’t see the shape that the letter well enough to see if it’s actually either of these.
Thank you!
Metal art is beautiful
I agree, I have several that I put on my fence panels.
Love the video ❤❤
Love ya Dagny. Next time you come to NW I’d love to get with you. ❤💜
Hello, did you sell the fabric you picked up… I’d love to buy it. Thank you sweet lady
I am listing everything today, Monday. 🤗
Did you get the fabric. It was fantastic. Love the designs. Especially for memories and kids.
❤❤❤❤❤
Great finds and great video 😊
The mask are Korean. I have some but they are on plaque
Hello D ! Just curious what is the meaning of your hand tattoo?
That is Jenny's hand from when she was 28 days old. 🥰
Did you get the chocolate chocolate set
No I didn't, you can see everything I picked up at the end of the video.
Sewing candy is great repurposed for make up or jewelry
❤️🙃
Quilters like to pre wash their fabric.
Yes, I try not to pickup prewashed fabric to sell. I'm leaving it up to the quilter to prewash it themselves. 🤗
🐷🧡🧡Hi Dagny, can you tell me why things are worth more that have a signature even if the person is not someone that is known? Sending HUGS as always.🧡🧡🐖
Some art pottery pieces are worth more, Bill Campbell and Eldreth come to mind...plus it's fun for me to actually know who made a piece so I can include it in the listing. But ultimately if you like a piece of pottery and it's not signed, go for it!
@@FlyingPigThrifts THANKS for answering my question. Have a good day!🤗
I hope you don't mind me asking. What dose your tattoo on your wrist stand for?
It's Jenny's hand from when she was 28 days old. She was born early...and it is her handprint from a card the NICU nurses made me for my first Mother's Day. 🤗
The white birds would be fun hung in the frame instead of on the wall
Had difficulty hearing you on your video
I could hear her fine
Such a nice variety of items!
