We've taken on the feedback and created an updated version without the music and with the inclusion of Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. If you wish to view it you can do so at this link...ruclips.net/video/JMUSGqNgwl0/видео.html
Roger Smith:
" So give us more", you
say. Perhaps you could show some common courtesy?
By requesting, not just demanding, what you would like to see? Follow it up with a nice little word: " please". Also,
how about you showing some gratitude, for the
hard work that went into putting this video together?
A suggestion, since you are so unhappy with this production, you can always make a better program to satisfy yourself, and your
compatriot's extremely high standards. The same advice goes to all the other complainers! If think you can do better, get right at it! However, don't be at all
surprised when your efforts are roundly criticized!
You make some good observations. But I had to stop because that so-called "musical" loop drove me bonkers.
If you do wish to finish the video we have created an updated edition without the backing track. You can view it at this link ruclips.net/video/JMUSGqNgwl0/видео.html
Thank you for your comment and we hope you find the new version more enjoyable!
Ou sont les rois du rires laurel et hardy dans les années 40 ils tournaient a la fox la mgm . Vraiment abbot et costello les marcks brotheurs n ont jamais eux leurs impactent dans l industrie chromatographie.
They were definitely comedy legends! We’ll be mentioning them in the 30s.
@@cinemaretrospective erreur laurel et hardy tournaient encorent dans les années 40 même si les derniers étaient moins bon c'était toujours laurel et hardy.
MARK DELENTE:
Another negative man!
If you would like to see a video on Laurel & Hardy
just a friendly request just might be the ticket to get your wish. Also, a little bit of gratitude could go a long way.
@@rosetucker489 abott et costello était zéro a côté de laurel et hardy qui en 2023 les rois du rires.
PLEASE CHANGE THE SOUND TRACK! I had to stop watching because of the same phrase over and over and over! I felt trapped on a hellish roller skating rink. I love the narration and the stories but I won't watch again until the sound is varied. Thank you! A Fan
We've uploaded another version of this video without the music which you can watch at the link below. Unfortunately we couldn't change it on this video without also losing the narration so we uploaded the new version separately. We hope you find it more enjoyable!

Francine Harbour:
FYI: With a hellish skating rink, since you are the one doing the skating, you can just stop all that skating, and get off the rink, at anytime!
Unlike an out of control merry-go-round, or roller coaster, where the
riders are stuck going around and around!
Feel criticized? Well, just how do you think the creator of this video feels?
Sorry to be negative but the incessant background "music" is so intrusive l had to stop watching. Why did you feel it necessary to add this to your video? It adds nothing and is terribly irritating!
Yes we received this feedback and have uploaded an edited version without the music. Unfortunately we couldn’t change it on this one so we had to upload a separate version. If you’d like you can watch it here…
1940s Hollywood (Updated Edition): Highly requested from our viewers!

@@cinemaretrospective Many thanks!
Even the mention of WWII makes me comatose. For the love of god save me.
Why is someone with a British accent narrating a film on American life?!?!?;?;
Australian actually. We did wonder if viewers would have a problem with that but we just find the topic of entertainment history interesting ourselves so decided to make it the focus of our channel. We’re also working on a video that looks at the history of Australian cinema so hopefully everyone can enjoy that one too.
Harriet Weber:
Why not? Whether the accent is Australian,
British, Scottish, Irish,
South African, Or Canadian...
We, as well as Americans
are all speaking our own language, which is English!
Or, in your part of the USA is it only those of us who are American, citizens who should be allowed to speak of
anything pertaining to the USA?
Loose the music. It's awful.
You can watch it without the music at this link.
