    Great flight! Impressive video reception at that range. Any chance you can post a link to the 3d printed mount for the triple feed patch antenna? I have an antenna like it and would like to use it with my V2 goggles...

    Fantastic, I have this motor / ESC on my build I am currently working on .

    Great flight. Do you have any O3 overheating issues? I’ve read many do. If not, how do you keep the temperature down?

    • @branislavmitic78
      @branislavmitic78  Месяц назад +1

      @@Lawzy Thank you. I have zero overheat issues on O3, I have a small heatsink with an selfadhisive double sided thermal tape and cut the hole in the nose of the dolphin a bit bigger plus vent grills in the front and aft hatch so there is plenty of airflow. I have flown it 35C weather for an hour and no overhearing.

      @@branislavmitic78 thanks for sharing. That is a great solution. I’ll try it.

    That's a fairly good current draw for the speed. What motor and prop combination are you using?

  • @smithe68

    Wow, great flight and range! Are you using stock v2 goggle antennas? I have horrible range with my v2 goggles vs my goggles 2 range with the O3.

    • @branislavmitic78
      @branislavmitic78  3 месяца назад +2

      No, I replaced the stock v2 antennas almost as soon as I bought them. On lover ports I have iFlight Crystal HD patch. On upper ports I usually have TrueRC stubbies, but for the longer flights (10+km) I put the big Geprc tripple feed patch with the 3D printed mount on the upper RX port (the right one when you look in the screens of the goggles).

    Great edit. Peaceful. How did you get past the 10km limit thought o3's had?

    • @branislavmitic78
      @branislavmitic78  3 месяца назад +1

      O3 does not have a 10km limit. Vista had 13.3km limit, O3 I think has 24km limit but I am not sure. Max I managed was 22.67km with O3 for now. You can see those flights in my videos.

    The antenna upgrades on your Goggles V2 are doing a great job! I’m looking to upgrade my Goggles V2 antennas too, but also considering purchasing a pair of Goggles 2/ Integra instead, to enable me record OSD on the goggles. Have you considered Goggles 2/ Integra? Do you know of a way to upgrade the antenna setup on those to get the sort of range you’re getting now? Cheers! 😊

    • @branislavmitic78
      @branislavmitic78  3 месяца назад +1

      No, I will skip the Goggles 2/Integra because V2 work OK and I have better antennas for them and I am waiting to see if the Goggles 3 will support the O3.

      @@branislavmitic78 please can you share details of how you’ve mounted that large triple-feed antenna on your V2. Is it a 3D printed mount? Thanks.

    • @branislavmitic78
      @branislavmitic78  3 месяца назад

      Yes, it's a 3D printed mount. I have mounting points on both sides of the goggles where the strap goes and the antenna is on a mount that attaches to them.

    Great stuff! With o3, you can’t record OSD on Goggles V2, right?

    • @branislavmitic78
      @branislavmitic78  3 месяца назад +1

      Thank you. No, V2 cannot record OSD on O3, only on original Air unit or Vista using WTF.OS
