- Take a walk with us around Polzeath, Cornwall. Our walk starts up on the coast path, we then make our way down towards the beach, stopping briefly at Polzeath Beach Holiday Park. We take a walk around the village and the beach before finishing in the car park overlooking the beach.
Due to technical issues with the sound on the day we've had to unfortunately replace the audio. The audio used has been matched as best as we can so hopefully it won't affect your enjoyment.

Polzeath is a small seaside resort in the civil parish of St Minver in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is approximately 6 miles north west of Wadebridge on the Atlantic coast. Polzeath has a sandy beach and is popular with holiday-makers and surfers.

Wow how Polzeath has changed went there with mom and dad in 1963 for our holudays had the best weather ever spent everyday in the sea stayed in a caravan for the week there was only a couple of shops there

Thank you for video. Polzeath looks quite different from when I camped there as a teenager in about 1956; in those days there were a few shops, no surfing outlets, and maybe one cafe. But a great beach to swim from.

Polzeath become one of our favourite beach holidays along with my late twin brother Roy, who died of Prostate cancer in 2020, we hardly missed going to Polzeath for the best part of 16 years, the year he died we had already booked our holiday accommodation near Polzeath which I had to cancel, we loved to spend time in our much-loved beach tent, chillaxing or going for cliff top walks whenever we felt like stretching our legs, we loved the whole ambiance of the place.
I'm sorry to hear you lost your brother. You must have so many fond memories of your holidays to Polzeath. It's a really lovely place. Take care, thanks for watching and commenting 💖

I saw the holiday park at the 5 minute mark and memories came flooding back. We used to go to rock and roll weekenders at holiday parks in the late 70s and early 80s, in fact I am pretty certain that they still do them to this day. The area is just so peaceful and relaxing, isn't it? Hardly a sound anywhere other than the seagulls.
Thanks Richard. Yes Polzeath is a lovely place, really relaxing and perfect beach weather when i filmed. The rock and roll weekenders sound great! Butlins hold music weekenders which are really good. They have different themes such as 70s, 80s, 90s, rock music, indie music and there's even a Madness weekender. They are really good fun! Stay safe and have a happy new week my friend 😊💕

I used to go on family holidays 30+ years ago to Polzeath, every year for about 8 years. What a wonderful place. We used to stay on a campsite off the back of the main road that runs past the beach, it was fantastic for access to the waves every day. The place looks like it has changed a bit, I hardly recognise the "high street". There used to be an arcade place just next to where that new marine place is, I spent many happy hour in there playing pacman.
