This was def the highlight of everything coz he trusts Claire so much that he's telling her everything and she in return trusts him as well. That invisible tention REALLY made their relationship work. Omg 🥰🥰
Even though their marriage was arranged, they were friends first. They communicate with each other. That's why their romantic relationship works. They trust each other, as well.
It was not very common for a couple back then to do that.

This scene reflects how natural they are and it doesn't seems like they are they are actors instead like real people. Mind you this scene is only second episode of first season and already they are showing World class ( natural) acting. Observe how at ease they are in their moments like standing, leaning, eating and even how Jamie is chewing the cheese 🤣🤣🤣.
I've watched Outlander a lot of times, but watching this random clip in my youtube recommendations still gives me goosebumps.
