Thanks man, it was a small yellow egg fly, the fish moved up closer to the surface in the evening, i had the egg set quite shallow ☺️

Thanks Sean, no it’s actually a cheaper branded line I got a few years ago but always seems to work great down there - it was a Leeda Slow intermediate line ☺️

Hi Joe, I normally just use an egg fly under the indicator, orange or green works good for me, a white squirmy worm is also good!

A lot of the rivers are closed now as trout season hasn’t fully opened, so it depends on the exact river you’re on, some rivers are fly only, some you can do whatever you want.

@senanstanleyfishing gotcha fishing there opens the day after I arrive which is awesome, my folks said they saw fish breaking the water by their new place. Gonna look into it more cross my fingers n practice some fly fishing haha
