- why would you want snaps on fedora - improvements to fedora bootloader would be appreciated, had many issues getting it to book on surface efi while other distros boot just fine. - bootc sounds like what vanilla/ublue has done but just making it official?
OSTree using OCI (Docker) images as a transport layer is what allowed uBlue to re-use well-known tools and infrastructure by the software industry i.e. the ones around OCI containers. Bootc will let uBlue re-use even more tools. Independently from Bootc, gradually official Fedora will use more and more these tools, of course in line with its principles, for example using GitLab (maybe) and Quay instead of GitHub.

I think this was more of a thought exercise than anything. Flatpak is our application container of choice and we really love it!
