Opie is a narcissist. They constantly play the victim and think everyone is out to get them. They refuse to take responsibility for how they treat people or the negative impacts of their behavior. Anyone who questions or disagrees is out to get them. Any criticism no matter how small is seen as an attack.
I don’t know specifics for each person but he accused everyone who didn’t grovel to him as “taking Anthony’s side”. So he treated them like shit and cut them out of his life.
