I would listen to Steve Vai Passion and Warfare over and over through my headphones when I was a kid. Always enamoured with his guitars too. Amazing, awesome collection.
I love the way the old Ibanez neon colors fade out the paint and plastics. The fabric covered ones do a cool “antique” fade/yellowing after all these years too. I’m an RG “poor mans JEM” guy myself but I’ve always wanted a swirl, universe, or a floral JEM, or any Ibanez with Disappearing Pyramid inlays. My main guitar is a 95-ish RG550 LTD and I’ve been off and on rebuilding a old bolt on Destroyer II I picked up over 20 years ago for 200 bucks in a pawnshop it was the metallic red color and I didn’t love the color and it was only a 200 dollar guitar in “well loved” condition, so I blew it apart and managed to loose some pieces here and there, traded it with a friend who traded to another friend who eventually gave it back to me. Now I see them on reverb people asking 700-1200 dollars for them and the red well I actually like it now. Oh well the things we do to our toys.
Gracias por compartir tu increible colección. Espero que puedas disfrutarla por mucho tiempo. Yo tengo sólo 2 JEM JR, una blanca y otra rosa. Las tengo reservadas para dos proyectos de personalizacion. Saludos cordiales.
Amazing, dude! An important collection of rock and roll history! Vai has been a long time inspiration of mine. I first heard of him back in the 1980s as a teenager, when he played with Alcatrazz and then Roth. Steve took guitar playing to the next level! I'm on a budget, but I am saving up to buy a Jem Jr. 🤘🏻
Aw mat i love mine. I got a few 90s ade in japan jems and rg's as well as a few modern ones. All are cool. I got the LNG 30th which is great. Cheers for sharing mate.
Ibanez had to stop releasing Jems with the "palm-rest" halfway through the very first production run in 1987, due to copyright/legal issues...i think Kahler or some other company had the copyright for this invention at the time. My 1987 JEM777DY has one, though :)

Holy grail. Congrats on your collection. In my opinion, the only one missing is a 77PMC.
Ah, I remember seeing the DBK on reverb. It is so cool to see as I remember the dvd well and wondered where they all ended up! Ha!
You're soo lucky for having those "works of art" mate. Vai signatures are some of the most premium models ever and you have the very best. Cheers!🙂🤟
So cool. I used to have a handful of the originals. Sold them all. oh well.
FP also has an incorrect string retainer bar. Very nice collection, amazing, thanks for the video!
