I like the discussion. Reviews of any sort are helpful, but the back and forth of this discussion is interesting. I was burned out on Splendor pretty quickly so I hope this game does not remind me of it.
Having icons on the city cards you build to help you get other things easier will remind you of Splendor for sure but there is definitely different things going on as well here

They probably changed that after the printed rule book that came with my pre production copy
