- Welcome to my Disney Classics DVD Overview for December 2012. In this video, I'll be showing you all the Disney Classics and their sequels I own on DVD. I don't own all 51 Classics, but I do have 47 DVDs to show you including sequels. I have been collecting for nearly two years and all the DVDs are UK editions and so are Region 2. I think the reason the Classic numbers are off is because I don't think Dinosaur is meant to be on the list of Classics.

Thanks very much! I will be doing a Blu-ray Collection video very soon, and that includes both Classics and non-Classics. I would like a complete collection, but I don't know if I'll ever make it there on Blu-ray!

This is perfection. :') Absoltely love disney, and have recently started collecting the dvds with the numbers on to replace my old videos. Am a bit dissappointed in you for not having the lion king sequels though. Lion king is my favourite. :P
I will get round to showing my Blu-rays very soon, it's just that people have been requesting me to show my DVDs so I thought I'd do this video first!

I bought this copy of Lilo and Stitch from the Disney Store in Manchester last August. It's the only time I've ever seen a copy with a Classics logo and so I just had to get it! Good luck in finding one!
What's that little screetching noise in the background? Its kinda like the sound a camera makes when you adjust the focus.
Wait nevermind. It is the camera adjusting focus, so that's where that scratching noise is coming from. My bad.
It’s awesome collection, Alice in Wonderland is still my favourite fairytale.
I have about 15 classics so far and will eventually get them all. All mine have the classic numbers on without me making them.
Have Snow White with many others. Saludios Amigos is very expensive :(

Great video! In Norway we have the Gold Classics Number on the bottom of the spine :-) And it has a square shape :-)

I owned Cinderella (1950 & 2015), Cinderella 2, Sleeping Beauty (1959), The Little Mermaid (1989), Beauty & The Beast (1991 & 2017), Beauty & The Beast 2, Aladdin (1992 & 2019), Enchanted, The Princess & The Frog, Frozen, Frozen 2, Raya & The Last Dragon, Encanto, Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 4, Pinocchio (1940), The Muppet Movie (1979), Muppets Most Wanted, High School Musical, High School 3, Big Hero 6 (2014), & Homeward Bound 2. I also want to buy The Little Mermaid (2023), Aladdin & The King of Thieves, Wish, Pinocchio (2022), Disenchanted, The Great Muppet Caper, & The Muppets (2011) on DVD. I'm also a huge Disney fan since I was a kid. I grew up watching Disney Movies.
I own half of those DVDS too. Like Bolt(which has NO classic No on it),Hercules,The Lion King,Pocahontas,Beauty & the Beast. I have 29 Disney classics.
Lion King Is My Favourite Classic But In The Diamond Edition The Morning Report Is Not In Sing-Song For Some Reason

Im afraid ive beaten you on all disney movies! Ive got classics and the second and third to how many come out. I have all the new disney movies too! Ive got every Disney movie and character out there! My room is like walt disney itself! I have everything!

Yes, Winnie the Pooh was released without a Classics No. in Europe, although it is. It's a shame they didn't release it on Blu-ray either, I guess I may have to import from the US! Thanks very much for watching!

I also include the Action/animated films such as So Dear To My Heart, Mary Poppins, Bedknobs And Broomsticks, Pete's Dragon; and Enchanted in my Classics list. So Dear... to Pete's Dragon were included in the Original Classics list and since Fun And Fancy Free is still in the Classics list (this film aso has live action footage in the film) I believe these films should be reinstated into the Classics list. What's your own thoughts on this?
Yes, you can still pick up most of the Standard Edition DVDs for around £5-10 from HMV or supermarkets. The Special Editions are normally slightly more expensive, but you should also still be able to find them. The Diamond and Platinum Editions are always the most expensive and the ones which are on sale at the moment are Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp and The Lion King. Hope this helps.

so winnie the pooh is number 51. i wondered about that cause i saw it had no 51 on the box and theres no europe blu ray version but it says on wiki it is 51 so i wasnt sure. excelent collection :)
Jungle Book 2 and The Wild were/are Classics but then got removed from the Classics list (I don't know why, wish I did - I also believe that The Wild has been returned to Classic status). Dinosaur was never a Classic on original release but seems to have been included, for some reason, later on (I did not buy this one). I'm confused about Winnie The Pooh (2011) as it is included as a Classic on Wikipedia but doesn't seem to be on the DVD release. I don't think it's on the Disney list either.
Very impressive collection and i a short space of time (just 2 years, or early 3 years now). The Disney nmbering system is wrong though, which is really annoying. I've been collecting Disney Classics since 1996, so most of my DVD's don't have the number on the spine. I'm only interested in the Classics and according to the proper numbering system, you should include The Reluctant Dragon and Victory Through Air Power (both only available in the Disney Tressures series),

Also in Norway we dont count Dinosaur as a classic, do you do that in the UK? We have the Wild instead... :-) (which I have not seen......)

In the United States, Bolt has only the super rhino short.
