- Saw a video the other day where the difference between a boat and a ship was explained. I learned how a boat at speed will lean into a turn, sort of like a motorbike. Where as a ship always will lean to the outside of a turn, due to the forces of the water and how they act against rudder and hull.
Never the less I am convinced that designing, say a containership with a technology enabling it to "ride tall waves" with more stability, not only is possible but also only is a matter of time before it's being done.
Innovation can't be stopped...

I’ve been on a few Super Tankers, and one Ultra Tanker as they twist and flex in weather. I am not ashamed to say, I was terrified, and knew within the second how long it takes me to put on my dry suit.

@@FFM0594 yes it was flowing smoothly, kinda. Just like anything does when it gets moving over a relatively long distance on a smooth (perhaps lino) floor. I'm 100% certain that it's not liquid. I can SEE books/papers etc.
