Just wanted to say many indian schools dont provide lunch and we get food from home which is very simple like bread(roti) with vegetable, sandwich or dal and rice we rarely have such a wide variety
But still canteen me available hota h
@@noirinserenity oh that's nice to hear I'm in Mumbai
That is simple only for Indian but for foreigners that's ...
I have a question for you guys. Do you guys also eat pork? I've never heard of it before. But she is very comfortable eating it
Some people eat we don't eat it at our village but our neighbour village eat it
Korean and Indian foods are probably two of the best cuisines in the world imo, these two lunches look so so delicious
Not really most Korean foods are raw, but italians make very good dishes

All we got in America was processed sheets of plastic cheese melted over white bread and they called it pizza. AND WE LOOKED FORWARD TO IT. Both those lunches look amazing.
Omg yeah I remember in elementary everyone who got school lunch was freaking excited for that crap
tbh most of the schools in india dont provide lunch
everyone has to bring their own lunch from home
and also my school just provides 30 min of lunch break and you cant go to another building or school ground you have to eat in your class .
In america they give you fake pizza with milk lmfao. So glad to be done with school lunches in the US. I could never go back to that slop 💀
@@danielle-bi3tkIt's very similar to Brazil then
??? now that where im middle school they usually give us good food ngl. they cook the food instead of giving us frozen stuff. we just had pastas with real boiled pasta and tomato sauce and also melted cheese.
rice is almost a must in south indian lunch at schools and never heard of a school serving desserts or noodles at school, maybe for special days but not as daily school lunch...but since every school lunches differ on their fees it might differ for many school/college.
Maybe they're doing this just for show when I was in school there were Khichdi, vadapav, hardly they serve misal pav even in college's don't serve food like noodles and something 😂
We had burger, noodles and other stuff on daily basis :)
In Bangalore and Hyd there are schools that serve brugers, noodles and sandwiches. Obviously private schools. I heard elite schools like bishop cottons or Baldwins had more varieties.

I get your point but it really is unnecessary to mention her skin colour it really has nothing to do with the video
You didn't have to mention the skin colour 🙃 if it doesn't matter Why're you highlighting it
I think she'd probably studied in a international school in India , i studied in a boarding school and we had the same menu on Sunday for non-veg biryani, chicken Manchurian, gulabjamun , raita, white rice and curd and fresh juice too.
OUR campus also had international school in it their menu was even premium 😂, their school fee for an year was 7 L which pretty much sums it up.
@kir920 same . We could bring our own tiffin or the mid day meal would have roti sabzi and dal rice. We would get boiled eggs and milk for for supper. If we wanted samosa/ pattis we had to buy it at the canteen. Everyday, same menu. The teachers would get biryani on special occasions.
Yeah. Same. But I only went for a little bit before moving back to California. When I went there, I was in 4th grade, so it only cost 5-6 lakhs. STILL A LOTTT. We only had vegetarian options tho.
If she's from Hyderabad, she might be studying in the International School of Hyderabad (ISH). This is the closest assumption that I can get to.
I am basing on various factors here, which I am too lazy to elaborate 😅

India is a very big country. It's hard to know.
A lot of schools in India don't provide food, we have to bring it from home or you can also buy it from the canteen if your school has one.
Maybe some schools do provide lunch which I guess exists in very small numbers. Personally, I have never seen or heard that schools provide lunch to students.
Government schools are the only one that provides lunch to students.
some semi residential schools give it too
Many private schools also now provide lunches. Money making schemes but yes they do now.
yeah so basically as she is from hyd, MANY like 99.9% of the schools here provide lunch, and we usually check the menu and take school food that particular day. and usually the menu is the same every week so we take school food only for a day when the food is good so that we dont get bored.
Our school has a canteen but it has pasta, burgers, chowmein, sandwiches or lays
@@nimrat6964 ours doesn’t sadly, but its a private school when breakfast and lunch is provided daily and it costs around 100₹ per day.

No offense but I think the Indian girl comes from a high class family and is far removed from what an average Indian's lunch looks like. Most Indian's lunch consist of simple rice or chapathi/paratha/roti with curry, a vegetable side dish and some healthy snacks. It's also an unwritten rule to not eat non vegetarian food in school. She's right about curd being common though.
You can't speak for the entirety of India, just as she cannot because India has only 20-39% of its population as vegetarians. The majority are non-veg eaters. And each school from different parts of India have different quisines and cultures.
Lol I ate non veg for lunch everyday as a Muslim in India though what do you mean

You'll have to remember even this channel and the cast that she is from private school 🎒 , while most of Indian studies at Government or government sponsored schools, in these schools they provide mid day meal from 5th to 8th grade or if you want you can after 8th . Other classes are allowed to go outside or to their home to eat then return within 45 minutes. 6:33 and who eats biriyani in their school lunch. 😂 Everyone eats simple food like fruits , roti with some vegetables curry or some short of meat mostly chicken, sandwich, rice , sometimes salad and obviously those Chinese food. Here in the UK my school lunch was at 12:40pm - 1:20pm. You could buy pasta pots with different sauces ontop, buy premade sandwiches/salad or have the main meal: which could be pizza, chicken wrap (it was just breaded chicken in a tortilla), roast dinner with cake dessert or whatever was on the menu. It wasn't hugely healthy but you could request fruit. Most children brought packed lunch though with sandwiches and snacks or bought snacks before school at one of the small shops. :)
Give some credit to the Indian girl she speaks korean so well, must have worked hard. She is beautiful too😍

India is a country with different cultures and backgrounds and thus lunches or food differs from place to place. For example, in one part of India, Roti/paratha is the staple food while in other, rice is. Very different from the video, in the northeast part of India, rice is the staple food and yes by rice I mean including the kind of rice the Korean girl is having in the video. And while in the video they showed the separated rice for Indians, which is true in parts of India but actually it's not common to have rice that separates after cooking in the north-east part. So, personally and without offence, I think the above video only represents a part of India. Because to me I don't find the lunch represented entirely accurate but only the 20 percent out of the 100
Yesss coming from a north eastern person I personally don’t like the rice together so I always have mine separated lol
@@saw4kooI am also from Northeast and I think the separated kind of rice is good for things like Fried rice and Biryani. But for daily meals, I prefer the ones that don't separate. But I do make the rice with slightly less water when I plan to make fried rice with it later, and they separate well enough.

As a Malayali every my every lunch is 🍚 Rice with varies types of Curries or Pickles or Pappad.
As an American who grew up in the 80s and 90s, our school lunches weren't healthy, but they were good. Back then, food allergies were unheard of, so we could eat anything. Our meals were never mature type meals. Always kid friendly type stuff. My favorites were in middle school when we had buffet style lunches like salad bar, baked potato bar, etc. High School in the 90s, we had an open campus, so whomever in your friend group that had cars would drive us all to near by restaurants to eat, or sometimes we'd go hang at a friend's house and raid their fridge. I've always envied schools in other parts of the world where they fed kids good meals for mature palettes. One thing I loved in elementary and middle school was the cold peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches. Till this day, when i make them, I put them in the fridge for an hour before eating them. I don't think peanut butter had been in an American school since the early 2000s.
man, I graduated High School in 96 in Southern California. Our school lunches (public school) were terrible, basically a step above prison food. But like you, my high school had an open campus so you could leave and get food outside. When I was a junior, they changed it so only juniors and seniors could leave, so I just missed that cutoff.
@@nicholasbrown4109 graduated in 96 as well.
As a very recent high school graduate, trust me when I say peanut butter & jelly sandwiches' are definitely still a thing. And most high school campuses in America (or at least in NYC) are still open, though some campuses have a policy that only seniors can leave the campus. My school didn't have that policy, nor did many of the high schools my other friends attended, though I still hear of that happening.
