While John has continued to write, and is involved in the film industry in Portland, McIver is now a professor of Math at Berkley. Not sure about others.
I saw them in 2005 at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz as the opener for a local band comprised of high school kids so it was a 16+ show and we all went to see this other band and these guys opened for them and I was like "HOOLYYYY SHIIITT" and promptly bought their album and listened to it constantly. I also feel like there was a song about a big man and a little man? Like it seems like there were more songs on the cd I got from the show, but someone stole it from me and I forgot their name.. just remembered it tonight and I am fuhreaking out
Their second album was uploaded a month or so ago. I've only heard Officer and a Gentleman so far. It's pretty rad! I'll be checking out the rest. This album is so complete it's hard not to re-spin it. He's a great songwriter! Their CD is still in my car somewhere. Saw them open for Zebrahead back in the day
In the dark, in the dark you'll find us Making noise to the beat of fashion No name brand will keep us in this hole Apologize making indecision Come alive when the patron saints of medicine And medicine make friends At the bottom of a wishing well Lives a secret that we dare not speak out loud Holding hands in a powerful stare Wearing badges of death to show we care I only do what the people say I exist in the hearts of all our friends I don't want to be a victim here I just want to rid the people of this Yeah, we all die young We need no victims in this Flacid generation We need no victims in this Put us in, put us in submission Bring a light, wanna fight your system Won't back down till the conversation ends In front of me the catamine breaks even Take it back to the penny pushing promises, Cause promises break friends At the bottom of a wishing well Lives a secret that we dare not speak out loud Holding hands in a powerful stare Wearing badges of death to show we care I only do what the people say I exist in the hearts of all our friends I don't want to be a victim here I just want to rid the people of this Yeah, we all die young We need no victims in this Flacid generation We need no victims in this At the bottom of a wishing well Lives a secret that we dare not speak out loud Holding hands in a powerful stare Wearing badges of death to show we care I only do what the people say I exist in the hearts of all our friends I don't want to be a victim here I just want to rid the people of this

And medicine make friends
At the bottom of a wishing well
Lives a secret that we dare not speak out loud
Holding hands in a powerful stare
Wearing badges of death to show we care
I only do what the people say
I exist in the hearts of all our friends
I don't want to be a victim here
I just want to rid the people of this
Yeah, we all die young
We need no victims in this
Flacid generation
We need no victims in this
Put us in, put us in submission
Bring a light, wanna fight your system
Won't back down till the conversation ends
In front of me the catamine breaks even
Take it back to the penny pushing promises,
Cause promises break friends
At the bottom of a wishing well
Lives a secret that we dare not speak out loud
Holding hands in a powerful stare
