    That was the sound that I came to in '74/75. Used to hear Newgrass in the early '70s at the Storefront Congregation in Louisville. JD Crowe and the New South were the stuff, then Boone Creek. Wore this album out, for sure. RIP Terry Baucom.

    Crazy how much his voice sounds like Tony’s when tonys voice just started kinda going bad. Wild! Love it!

    That.was one band that Ricky should have kept and vested in it...it was good enough.to sell records and book the band.on music circuits...rj

      In the late 70s he contracted with Epic Records and made big $$$ with #one hits up the wazoo for 12 yrs., got out and went straight back to bluegrass and tours the world...

      Nothing was cut short. It's the same arrangement that's on the album. Played just like the recording.
