That was the sound that I came to in '74/75. Used to hear Newgrass in the early '70s at the Storefront Congregation in Louisville. JD Crowe and the New South were the stuff, then Boone Creek. Wore this album out, for sure. RIP Terry Baucom.
In the late 70s he contracted with Epic Records and made big $$$ with #one hits up the wazoo for 12 yrs., got out and went straight back to bluegrass and tours the world...
