Hi, seems like everyone says that CV can be used to make any custom cabinet - "just place an empty cabinet and add parts", but I have not seen a single video how this is done. Specifically, for the purpose of learning, could you show how to place an empty cabinet (not an existing cabinet with parts removed) and add all the parts to it so that it function properly, e.g. doors are recognized as doors and have hinges automatically added, etc. Kind regards.

Have you seen my video on floating shelves/object intelligence? That might be a good start.
Im not sure what you’re trying to accomplish, but for most things, you want Cabinet Vision to build the cabinet as best as it can and then you make modifications to it as needed. There are only a few cases where I actually get rid of everything and rebuild it manually.

I have 2023, the latest version. They have monthly subscriptions and purchase options. You will have to talk to a sales rep to get a price. I have about 7k-8k in my license.

Simulation is an addon. It is really nice to have when you start getting into a lot of tooling and custom stuff.
