I usually don't use it since it's mostly best to use it if there are a lot of players. Since primarily using it on singles, Supernova's effectiveness goes to waste. The Periastron Kit is the most balanced kit when appropriately used since it has an offensive and defensive play on pretty much everything. I usually don't use it since it's mostly best to use it if there are a lot of players. Since primarily using it on singles, Supernova's effectiveness goes to waste. If I made a kit list, I would probably put the Periastron Kit as 2nd or 3rd for best kits because the kit is still in development. After all, fuchsia periastron is said to introduce an air game, plus with an ability that grants invincibility, which I think is Takeo fixing the kit's biggest weakness, which is Scroll Of Sevenless having crazy frame data that prevents lunges from being able to dodge the gear. Mostly what goes in 1st is the catalog heaven kit. It has crazy good mobility, but this outclasses the Periastron Kit because it primarily uses scroll, so you can't even dodge it. Other catalog heaven kits could outclass it since they all have a scroll of sevenless in it. A topic I was discussing on abuse and spam on the games got discarded twice due to tech issues. I am also making a video showing why this kit should be used more often instead of players abusing the gear just for their abilities.
@@Snapshot8888 I guess that makes sense. Also when you mentioned the fuchsia periastron, in one of the gear games I play called Catalog Gear Place, there's a version of it with two different abilities; Martial Arts and a Frontflip ability. I think it would be an extraordinary addition to the periastron kit if it was added as a gear, because the second ability is really great for moving around at a faster speed, and can also give you extra height in the air when used. It's basically the meta of CGP and almost every decent player uses it. I think Takeo already made a version of it on the Creator Marketplace.
@@laxical4614 THis is actually what I was talking about, as models, there are fuchsia and hazel periastron in alpha stages since so far, fuchsia and hazel have no function yet, but hazel on rainbow periastron has a rock blast ability activated by pressing R that can shoot you into the air, or use a peri dash and then switch to rainbow and use rock blast during the lunge to create the platform so you can block off small tunnels, and then in march 2021, fuchsia finally got updated slightly. Fuchsia periastron now had files if checked on workspace elements in dex explorer/btools/studio. Fuchsia now doubles the lunge range which allows aggressive approaches, and stronger dodges. I think what ended up happening is the devs of Catalog Gear Place looked at the code in Fuchsia Periastron's files and tried replicating it to make their own. I do not like catalog gear place for a bunch of reasons: 1) THEY ADDED EFFECTS TO THE DASHES, BUT THEY TAMPER WITH THE RELOAD TIMES, 2) The game contains extremely unbalanced moves, there's one that literally tracks you, however the periastron kit can outrun it with fuchsia, but they are all like unbalanced. 3) Players who use gears like fuchsia periastron, abuse the abilities, bruh. If fuchsia in the final product was similar to the CGP one, I think these would be the changes: 1) The fuchsia would have a normal lunge so that would buff the kit as it gives more lunge replacements if periastrons are lost to unwings. 2) Martial Arts would probably be different since in CGP, fuchsia martial arts has a large hitbox, and a strong speed boost to make it harder to dodge, plus when the player is in the air, when you get in the air as of animation, you can just cancel martial arts into crimson kill confirm (Crimson's "Crimson" ability, and Rainbow's "Singularity" ability requiring Amethyst Periastron) and that's wayyyyy too op since martial arts has a large hitbox, and if canceled, can start a combo and that's just too op and unbalanced. 3) The Frontflip ability might be tampered so it can't transition into martial arts. CGP also made periastrons, but as a kit, that would go into your backpack since you can only fit 10 of them. Plus they even tried to guess Takeo's hazel periastron, they just made it a unwing.
@@Snapshot8888 I can definitely vouch for you when you say there are unbalalanced moves for different gears. There are a number of gears in CGP that are completely broken, and are near impossible to play against. One great example would be the Vampire Vanquisher. When you use the special ability, it sends a shockwave out from the sword. kind of similar to the Grimgold Periastron. If you get caught in the blast, you automatically unequip your gear. This makes you vulnerable, and unless you have lightning fast reflexes, there's no way out of it. You can't really use a flying gear to dodge the blast, because most flying gears are either not fast enough, or you can't pull it out from your inventory fast enough to escape if you're close to the user. Unless you use some sort of FF gear, it's inescapable. For some of the gears on CGP, most of them are nerfed to make it easier for people to fight against them. Some are even nerfed to the point where they are basically useless. A prime example would be the Flaming Hedghog Cannon. The gear has 2 nerfs; The hedgehog's speed has been lowered, so it takes a century for it to reach its target from a far range. The blue hedge doesn't have that much speed either. The second nerf is lowered damage. Instead of one shotting, hedge cannon does 75 damage, which I guess was probably for the best. If the nerfed version of hedge cannon was added to 1500 gears, hedge spammers would probably quit the game, or find another weapon to abuse. THIS is how you rid spammers of the game. By nerfing overpowered gears, it can go to the point where spammers won't use it anymore, and make the gear practically useless. The only 2 options they have, are either A. Find another gear to spam with, or B. Stop playing the game completely. If you apply this to CGP, people who only use gears for their special abilities won't use those gears anymore, and find something else to use. This also benefits people who are newer to these types of games, and it will also make it easier for them to progress and become more skilled. By the way, I am looking forward to the video regarding the use of the Periastron kit. It might help spread awareness to other players of the game.
Thats actually the first time i've seen snapshot use supernova before 27:36
