thank you i had a shiny rowlet in legends arceus and i like the normal decidueye shiny better so knowing it won't evolve into a hisuian one in scarlet helps :D
Basically, it's like the earlier games: If the stage your evolving is already a Hisuian forme, and its evolution requirement is in the game, you should have no problem evolving it... If the current forme doesn't have a regional variant, you will always get the version that's normally available in the game... For breeding, you need an Everstone with most of them, but the exception is Basculin (Accidentally tested), probably because he's not separated as a regional variant, but as a White Stripe forme...
I believe Hisuian Qwilfish has become one of those who need to know a certain move to evolve like with rollout which i think had a few pokemon needing it, Dunsparce with hyper drill, Mime Jr. With mimic and so on. However i woder if you can evolve them into Hisuian forms in either of the new dlc locations?
So there are a few Hisuian forms that could make it in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet without needing to be evolved first. The starters are obviously a no go, same with Braviary, Stantler, Lilligant, Electrode, Avalugg, Ursaring and most likely Qwilfish. Unless you can have Hisuian Qwilfish evolve in Paldea. Hisuian Sligoo can evolve into Hisuian Goodra with Hisuian Growlithe and Hisuian Sneasel evolving into Hisuian Arcanine and Sneasler though.
I did a test and I can confirm I transferred a shiny rowlet and shiny cyndaquil into legends and back evolved them into hisuian forms in legends and moved them back and they maintained the beast ball in there hisuian forms I think all hisuian forms you can get in alternate poke balls apart from hisuian voltorb because it’s genderless and the ball won’t pass down

Right now, majority of the Hisui Evos are locked in L:A, but we might be able to Evolve them in the DLC. (The Battle Style Evolutions may be changed in the DLC.)
From what I've heard from the comments is that they already removed the style requirement and having the move is that is need. Like wyrdeer, h-busclin, overqwil.
@@XcZachX20 There was some data similar to that in the games, but from everything I've seen, it hasn't been PROPERLY patched. So the Evolution data is set to '0' which is similar to turning it off, but they can easily update it to enable the Evolutions, and haven't yet. (Or similar)
The answer is all of it. But not in the actual SV games. You have to transfer them to PLA and evolve them, then transfer them back to SV and voilà, you just got your own Hisuian pokemon.
I'm hoping Hisuian Decidueye isn't included in what can evolve in Scarlett and Violet because I got one in surprise trade and evolved it to regular form. Knowing I'd messed up would suck

No they will only evolve into Unova Braviary in Sword and Shield (unless something happens with the Indigo Disk DLC that makes it possible.) You could transfer it to legends and evolve it there for Hisuian Braviary.
You don’t necessarily need home to make the transfer. If you have a friend who does have Legends, then you could probably ask them if they can catch an extra H. Sligoo or Goodra for you.
You can('t) evolve a Stantler. Use psyshield bash 20 times and level up like Primeape. Also you can mirror herd that move down. Have fun😊 Edit: Serebii just changed the information to 20 times Ágiles Style again. Tested and it seems to be the case, 😮💨 but you can give Stantler psyshield bash now for some reason.

Didn't learn anything as this was already known. All regional variants are always working this way. If a common form has a branching evo (usual + regional), it will only evolve towards the regional variant in that specific region. If the base form of the pokemon is already a regional variant, its evolution is unhindered unless the evolution method isn't present in the game, although they usually try to include a way to get the evolution somehow. Perhaps eventually we'll get the evo items for Kleavor and Ursaluna, like perhaps eventually we might get Link Cords as actual items in the main games, like it did in PLA.
Was saying it incorrectly during this video. Since then I have corrected myself. The pronunciation is /H eh/ /s u e/ The i in the first syllable is a schwa making it say eh. The two vowels in the second syllable representing long vowel phonemes.
Thank you so much!!!! I was looking all over the Internet (well it felt like it) to find this out!!
Just a bit of info, but you can evolve qwilfish into overqwil by leveling it up. Im not sure if the same goes for wyrdeer, though.

I transferred one of my Hisuian Growlithes to Scarlet, used a fire stone, got a Hisuian Arcanine.
Yeah, I figured that worked with Sneasel. Great thing is with an everstone you can shiny hunt them via breeding in ScV
can you trade one with me?
