I miss Maurie. What an absolute genuine legend ! 💜🐨🇦🇺
There only ever was, and only ever will be, one Maurie Fields. His deliveries are always fantastic.
Ahh miss that show, That's when I use to watch TV .
TV! I remember that!
No one can say "Ya flamin' mongrel" like Maurie.
Ahh absolutely hilarious. Loved these guys when they were on the telly, it was a very good segment along with red faces.
Telly! I haven't heard it called that in eons which could be age related
Ahh, Maurie, what a legend
I'm 47 year old Aussie 😂why am I laughing so hard
I wish it took off when they tried again.
I was so excited for future episode's...
Loved Maurie Fields as a kid.
Absolute gold!!!
Maurie you legend
Good old Maurie fields R.I.P Maurie fields mate
Happy Australia 🇦🇺 Day
There will never be another show like this again 8:41
"We haven't got a plug." is the winner.
I don’t get it
@@sanjaygupta666 He sits on the plug hole to stop the water.
@@nephos100 cheers mate. Was scratching me head there...
Bless Maurie.... "There were these 2 mongrels ya see..."
"Seems there was these two MONGRELS at the bar you see" 😅
We haven't got a plug. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Gone nearly 30 yrs already
Legend.
when people used to watch tv!
Now it's all scripted reality shows
when people used to watch shit
When the tv was not owned by the political correct and we could laugh at ourselves
@@gregbrown81 if your thing is to watch a scripted show that's decided the outcome before its even produced is your thing, nobody's stopping you from watching that diarrhoea.
I'd rather watch unscripted live "dated shit" without the delay all day than to be a statistic, fake being happy and post usless comment's on "dated shit" in hope's of what exactly has me stumped! 😂
Your a fool mate 👍
@@grantnelson5591 and laugh over and over again at the disadvantaged.
that was their currency.
I like aussie jokes
From memory his home town was Kuranda Qld ?
Shane Bourne hosted Thank God Your Here, right?
Yes.
A time when life was good 😅
Fosseys LMAO. Is that what we call best & less these days? I can't remember. Maybe it was just a Victorian business???
Sue and Mike got Married in 1988
3 il like hay hay show
This show was like ostrich soup for the soul on a cold winters saturday night that everyone in Australia watched, just a shame they cannot afford the electricity to make a modern version of it.
Zingers.
Before political correctness and when we didn't mind laughing at ourselves
comedy rating.....Shane..3, Maurie...9
I miss Saturday Night though it don't want an attempt at rebooting it again. That was just shite.
And dont forget, dont upload Hey Hey to RUclips. They are on a copyright strike run. Still alot of work to do guys
who gives a shit mr down and out, what a stupid thing to say!!!!
The Yank driving across the property until dark - I don't get it?
It's referring to the distance from one end of his property to the other.
@@wades9327 So Texas has big property's. But ours are bigger? but what's with "i had the same problem with my car". Am I missing the joke?
@@markbrophy4331 Yes, you are. The Queensland redneck in the joke didn't get it either -- hence his reply.
I'm ashamed to say that I don't get it either.
Americans drove huge yank tanks back in those days .probably means how long the car was
Shane Bourne, the fake laugh is ridiculous. He is the same on THYH. There is nothing funny about him.
Maurie Fields, now he is actually funny.
How is it fake?
Are people not allowed to have a loud laugh.
Must they be forced to stifle their laughter to a dull giggle, just to please hateful sooks.
What a dismal bubble you must live in.
Just wondering if anyone can tell us what the jokes were about when he collapsed and died in front of his audience?
this show is so dated
No-one's forced to click just to whinge about it, either.
Stick to things you do like. Your life will be so much more positive and happier.
@@mebeme007 sorry, not sorry
LOL
@@gregbrown81 you prefer the current state of pc melbourne "comedy" festival? wokefest miserable and pathetic desperate to laugh at anything....the crowd arent really amused they are pretending.
@@mebeme007, I thought it was funny too. The show is old but different times when people were not so precious.
@@gregbrown81
Who's asking you to be sorry?
If you enjoy clicking on things you dislike, just to have a whinge about them, then knock yourself out.
But it's a pretty miserable life to lead, if that's how you get your kicks.
Not bothered if you're sorry or not. 🤣🤣
pearler!!! from the old boy. he was as funny as Fk..eh!!! I watcthed all this in the 80's.. and I recon that's waht's missing in this world right now.. I hate the Americanism of our TV's.. youtube and everything else that they control.. Our kids and grandkids will be so different in 20 years time.. I hope I will be alive to tell them the differences.. and the LIES..
