- things broke, design failed, but here is a video on how I salvaged the Day with hammer forming 16 gauge sheet metal with a plasma cutter, bench vise, hammer, Cresent wrench, vice clamps, and and a piece of angle iron for a dolly. check out these other great channels

Hey! Thanks for mentioning my channel in the description. I learned a tip decades ago that should help you out in the future. When bending a pan like yours to achieve an overall outside dimension, subtract 75% of the material thickness for each bend. This accounts for the material stretch at each bend so the panel size doesn’t grow on you.
You're welcome, and thank you for that tip. I will implement that in to my bends. I'm learning something everyday I'm in the shop trying to get better.
Just a tip mate if your bench top is metal you could put it on its side and clap to the bench top and hammer it flat that way as well.
