OMG we went to the same class in her senior year at TWU and had no idea she was 16 at the time OMG. I am shooked. Congrats and good luck in Law school Haley.
Eh, that's like saying, "Since Bill Gates dropped out of college and made billions, dropping out of college isn't so bad after all." This is simply one isolated case. There are still millions that are homeschooled and end up not accepted into many, if any, graduate schools. Sample size is important.
Home school itself is not necessarily a bad thing. The bad thing is braindead parents who pull their kids out of school and switch out a proper education for religious brainwashing. For example you have the children from the FLDS-church who can barely read. Parents home schooling their kid can really help them, but they can also ruin their lives.
As long as kids are still able to socialize with their peers it's fine. Homeschooled kids are usually friends with other homeschooled kids because they connect on line.
Post It probably donated that gift certificate for free for the advertising they got on that thing. Show probably couldn't get a laptop manufacturer to do the same.
❤️ too cute ❤️. Amazing kid right there! She ain’t even rushing to be out there alone... she wants to stay at home! Parents did a good job right there! 😊
She's precious. I agree with this parenting style and have done it with my own children. They are way better off than I was sticking it out and hating school because I wasn't thriving.
Law school is three years though and if she's 16 she'll be 19 or 20 when she graduates she can take a year off or intern at a law office before taking the bar. She's still young so even if she does have to wait it's not a big deal.
Out of all the shit you could’ve commented you felt the need to bring up the one potential negative that doesn’t even apply in this girl’s case (18 is the minimum age in Texas).
ItsReal93 Vids I really do not understand how my comment is being misinterpreted as a dog on this poor girl. Honestly more power to her. It’s incredibly impressive. I did not know 18 was Texas’ age limit. Majority of states are 21. I commend her for what she’s doing. I was just trying to point out the only potential drawback. I don’t understand how that is such an issue.
@@loganturner2669 She was definitely not criticizing the girl. She simply mentioned a critique of the legal system which ultimately negatively impacts kids in cases like this one.

Homeschooling will surely help a child accelerate in terms of academics. However, it is also good if you let a child experience a regular school especially for high schoolers. High school plays an important part on a child’s life. This is where you make friends that could last a lifetime and experience chatting with friends about crushes or going to prom which is worth the memories. Just a thought
I was in GT, so were my other 2 siblings I thought it was something simple to get into, but I really enjoyed my time there so Im glad I was able to do it.
Depending on the needs of the child graduating high school at 17 or 18 isn’t always necessary as you can see. My mom graduated at 16. Some of the classes are just space fillers and aren’t really needed in life anyway. Kids needs to be learning about investing and how to run a business as well.
As a law student, I don't know if I support this, because law school is tough and very competitive. I feel like she should get a chance to take it slow and enjoy her life before rushing into it because once you're in law school you won't get a break! After that, its all work! Also, I think its important for kids to balance their social needs with their ambitions, so hopefully she is able to have her social needs met even if she was away from the social aspect of school while being home schooled.
