You're my favorite simracing content creator man. I almost never use anything as it's being sold so yeah for me this is a wonderful content:) amazing work, thank you.
Love your videos. I wish I had a lathe and other machining tools. There's so much I want to make. Those Slo-mo shots with the aluminum peeling we're awesome. I definitely do love seeing new products at the beginning stages, even though I don't think I'll be needing these particular ones.
This is a prototype. The connection is solid but still, the final version will be somewhat different in that regard. This connection looks better than the clamp in my opinion and is less in diameter. The final version will pick up all the benefits from both types.
@@kolysion164 Yes, of course there will be a video upon a release. The length is fixed to 80mm. This length is calculated to give best field of view (FOV) experience on 27-32" triple screen users.
I do really like the approach to have the USB signal within the steering column. That was the only downer moving from Fanatec to Simucube. Looks like you will offer a nice solution for it. Depends on the pricing I‘m interested. What do you think what length is realistically possible (using a 150mm extension and a Xero Play OR atm)
Simucube can take pretty long extensions, some people using 200mm extensions but in my opinion you don't need to go nowhere near that length for triple 32" screens. Still I will offer 120, 130, 140, 160 and supersized 180mm Extensions. They are all in final stages of production and only need black anodizing. It will be released in a video soon along with the Clubsport DD extension, so stay tuned.
I would like that but it's such a small market Asetek is holding for now and the base is pretty expensive to invest in the development of the extension.
Great comment, thank you! This will also be possible. Adapter for this extension that will enable to screw in original Simucube QR is already designed in 3D and about to be released. Also there will be many other adapters you will be able to bolt on to the 6 screws like standard 6 bolt pattern for Xero play QR for example. Working hard to release this in the coming weeks.
Not yet, sorry. We have it but other projects are pressing so hard leaving almost no time for development of this. We really want to bring this to the market, stay tuned.
Well We will see how long the bearing of the motor will handle this. It's way to long and the motors are not meant to have this strength coming from a far pull.

Yeees, when I saw these shots I was sorry I did not do a couple more. :) Machining rules!
Really awesome to see your machining and troubleshooting process. Thanks for sharing this!
Great video, but why set screws? Wouldn’t clamps like Fanatec use provide a more solid connection between the QR2 and the adapter?

Just waiting for them to return from anodizing so they will be available pretty soon. We just published a post on Facebook about it.
can you post a video when it's out !! I'm tuned, thanks so much, and can we choose the lenght ?@@T.S.CUSTOM

it's extra 80mm ? or is it the standart lenght + extra = 80mm? @@T.S.CUSTOM
@@kolysion164 Think of it like this. The base side QR goes 80mm towards you.

are you able to make one for Invicta wheelbase, would be cool if we can get plug for uSB pass through
I would like that but it's such a small market Asetek is holding for now and the base is pretty expensive to invest in the development of the extension.
Any plans to make a QR1 to QR2 shaft adapter?
Something for people using the CSW2.5. A shaft that goes over the CSW shaft and becomes a QR2?
No, this is too old of a device to invest in development.
Looks good! Any news about the CS DD extension? This would actually make me buy a CS DD 😁
You mean CSL DD? Or Clubsport DD? We are working on both. Clubsport DD should be released in the next 2 weeks, CSL DD right after that.
Hello. I have a question about Fanatec dd1 wheel extension. How much does it cost and how long does it take to deliver it?
Please contact us trough our web form to get your answers at: www.tscustom.eu
Does it also work if I have mounted the podium paddles on the fanatec v2?
I don't see why not.
@ I don't remember why I had this doubt 😅
Maybe it would be better if the simucube base side QR system be just bolted your DIY mate?

Thanks mate. I will be waiting for the release of what you stated on your reply in my comment. Thanks
Any news? about CSL dd shaft extended sir

It holds with no problem even a lot longer extensions. People have them for years, Simucube bearings an shaft are a beast.
@@T.S.CUSTOMyou are wrong, Ask on the granite forum, i'm killing my SC2 pro with a simracingbay one, yours will do the same.
Nice sir 🎉🎉
I really want that on my fanatec DD GT pro please 🙏🏻
It will be done, we just got CSL DD and started developing it. Stay tuned. :)
@@T.S.CUSTOM yes i am always watching your video sir thanks
Nice shaft 😂
