I named my puppy, Bolt when I was 8 because this was my favorite movie, he was a little Corgi, best dog I ever had. He died just a few months ago, I’m 22 now.

15 years later, The voice of young penny would later voice the title character in nimona, based on the graphic novel of the same name.
i was not expecting myself to cry over a simple scene. all it's doing is establishing two characters in a movie, and i suddenly remembered all the dogs i've lost over the years. adoption and/or from old age. i miss them all 😭🥺

+Tyler Obst im....im sorry for both of your dogs. if you feel better i had to give away 3 dogs cause they all kept disobeying us and running down the road and disterbing others. my current dog is staying at someone elses home cause in the complex i live in there r no pets allowed. my dog before my current dog kept running away down the road but his time.......got hit by a car.... we.... we had to.... we had to put her down......she was my favorite... im sorry for both pf your dogs

Here's another dog story: When my dog had puppies, there was a puppy who was always alone, kind of like me. She was smart and looked a little different than the others. Nobody wanted to adopt her so we decided to keep her. I still remember the day my mom told me this. It was a very wonderful unforgettable moment.
I'm superprise that Young Penny is Voiced by Chole Grace Moretz who she also voiced Carrie White in Carrie (2013).
And Hit Girl from Kick ass and Mia from If I Stay and Isabelle from Hugo and a so much more
And the title character in nimona.

This honestly reminds me of when I got Cooper, my beloved dog (my sisters and I won't let our dad get rid of him). When my sisters wanted to adopt a dog, we went by this house that had recently put a litter of puppies up for adoption. And at the time, I didn't exactly want a dog (don't remember why). But Cooper was the mischievous one of the litter and he was the one my dad had chosen for our family to adopt. We got him the day before Halloween in 2015. Cooper maybe the most annoying and the dumbest dog ever, my family and I love him for the joy that he had brought into our lives.
I actually remember after I first watched this movie I both did and still do want a dog like Bolt, so I can name it...well Bolt.

This is kinda how I got my puppy.
We weren’t meant to be buying any, just looking. My dog had died 7 years ago, so I was desperate for a new one.
There were 7 of them, and so far only the runt had been bought (coincidentally by my godmother) so we had a pretty wide range of choice.
They were all scampering around in one corner, trying to get out and greet us, but Bandit wasn’t. He was in the back cage, chewing a toy (which he still has today). I requested to pick him up and the owner managed to get him out. He was a little fidgety at first but ended up refusing to leave my arms.
We bought him home 3 weeks later. Oh, and the reason I called him Bandit is because he wore this cute little blue bandanna.
Still a great movie tbh!
