@@romelade9947 As far as I looked it up, all known cover staff that work as admin in HoloGTA are mainly from indie STGR vtubers from japan (Confirmed from their twitter), since they are also the one being hired to build the world for this event.. So I don't think they are that fluent in english, also if you noticed it always took them a while responding in english so they were probably using translator..
Not gonna lie, as a bilingual JP niki, Biboo's Japanese skill was very impressive. She understood fair bit of fully japanese convos, and delivered her intensions in JP using proper words and grammar. She has a great potential to be a fluent JP speaker.
This is what I love from Hololive. The JP members also tried their best to speak EN and not pushing EN/ID to speak JP. Language barrier can also make something more interesting too like Towa-Mumei "Aitai" or Bijou-Lap+ "Omedetou". I hope we can get really full Hololive members for future RP game.
I don't remember what day Mikochi said this, but she said that EN/ID members are fascinating and fun to play with despite the language barrier. Also, Subaru loves Biboo's cute voice when speaking Japanese. I hope there are more events like this in the future.
Especially at first, I was surprised how quiet Biboo was in a lot of situations. So it kind of showed. But she did a great job using passion Japanese and Subaru really helped all the EN girls out. The Holos Santos story wouldn't have been the same without her!

Then what happened is that the two of them were able to understand each other surprisingly well so soon Subaru was nowhere to be found. So hopefully Biboo isn't the only one coming out of these interactions feeling a bit more confident about her ability to work around the language barrier.
I'm glad she changed her mind about streaming as well. She definitely felt a lot better about it after the first day. She kinda overcame that barrier of thinking she had to understand japanese 100% when it would be her jp senpai that are trying to meet her halfway with their best passion english. Everyone's worried about it to some degree, but they all just wanna play together and have fun.
hololive really thrives and gives us amazing moments when these kinds of events happen. Language barrier also creates funny and wholesome moments in hololive

Though it was good to seeing Biboo taking small steps and actually interacting with everyone. Especially with Subaru. The one clip that comes to mind was when she flew out of her cop car and Subaru was there, stayed, and both actually having a conversation and Subaru joking on which medic would come to save Biboo in which Biboo hoping it was not FuwaMoco (I wonder why). Interactions like that, even with a little bit of what you know of their language, helps bond with them a lot more. Happy the little rock didn't regret her decision!

It is the JP oriented server, EN members can’t speak Japanese will have less dramas. I hope one day holoEN can collab with other members not in hololive in VCR gameplay.
It is a personal decision of each member to participate and we as fans should respect that, otherwise things happen like with the NijiGTA event. BUT lets hope that the fact that Biboo, Raora, GG, CC jumped into this event with little to no JP and created both memorable moments and had fun might show those who declined this time that it is very possible.

In the NijiGTA Event, especially the Japanese viewers did not like having to listen to EN, so after starting as a mixed event, it ended with only those Niji member of all branches that had a very good command of Japanese, no passion EN/JP whatsoever, which imo was one of the highlight of HoloGTA. If it was caused because of one of the NijiEN members misbehaving on the first day or if the tolerance of Niji JP Users to EN is just so much worse i cannot say. For HoloGTA, I loved that Matsuri for example was sceptical when she was paired up with Biboo because of little EN, so Subaru stayed with them for an hour or so after which they formed a great combi, so again thumbs up for all members.
