Thank you for yet another well-researched and informative treatment of an important pen model. I for one, did not realize the Hastil's landmark status in the history of the Italian writing industry. I am lucky enough to own a German Bolascrip in a similar shape, with a gold-filled barrel and cap, is near mint condition. The Bolascrip is newer than your Hastil, so I presume it was inspired by the Aurora product. The only drawback to the Bolascrip is its thin size, which is tiring for a hnad like mine.
Yes. I agree. This is the only problem with a slim fountain pen. (And maybe the small fountain or ink capacity). But I guess that in a woman hand it does wonders.
Thank you for the enjoying video and for the richness of the information you shared. It looks like you are very fond of this Fountain Pen and I would feel the same if I would own one. Anyway, you managed to transmit your enthusiasm to me and I thank you for that, too. It is highly needed to keep positive feelings in our heart during these troubled pandemic times! Related to the diameter of the Fountain Pen, which appears to be relatively small, I would say that, despite the fact I belong to the male gender, I have medium to small hands, so, in my case, a diameter over 12 mm would be a problem. I mean that, while a Fountain Pen like this Aurora Hastil would allow me to write easily for a long time without interruption, a barrel diameter over 12 mm would make me feel tired much sooner. Besides, a too big diameter would not allow me to keep my wrist mobile and flexible enough, as to write nicely. Please, do not mind, I just wanted to show that the beautiful Fountain Pen you reviewed would have a larger amount of users than expected! Thank you again and I wish you a nice and fruitful day!
The nib looks to have the wrong geometry to be a nib to give line variation, instead of moving apart, they just move upwards in the same line. It is a beautifull pen however, very cool! May I reccommend to clean your vintage pens before trying to fill or review them? It doesn't take much time and helps a lot! I reccommend to get your hands on a cheap ultrasonic cleaner which speeds it up even more! (Since I know patience is not your strongest point)
@@ThePenCollectorBogdan I find it interesting how pens go through cycles of fashion as much as other items we use in our daily lives. Once a company comes up with a design that sells well then soon enough you'll find other manufacturers produce very similar things so as not to miss out on sales. Case in point: I have two Japanese pens, slim with black vertical stripes. One was manufactured by Sailor, the other by Pilot. I'm pretty sure Platinum had a corresponding model, although I'd have consult Andreas Lambrou's excellent book.
My friend, a great piece! When you come to Italy, I will bring you to Aurora at Torino!
Thank you, my friend! It will be a wonderful day!
I have one Aurora Hastil stainless steel and it is my first Italian pen,i love Juventus FC…All in Turin.
@@quoc-cuongluong8802 I think you have the early version.
Beautiful pen with solid construction. The video quality is excellent today. 😊
It is a wonderful slim metalic pen.
Maybe the light was just perfect today and the video quality is high.

Wonderful close-up camera shots. Are you using a new lens?
No. The same Samsung Galaxy Note 8 mobile phone.

I don't mind. Your comments are always welcome! Thank you! 🙂

Thank you! I will clean them as good as I can. You are right; I should buy a ultrasonic cleaner.
The Pelikan P600 Signum also looks like it was inspired by the Hastil.
Yes. You are right, my friend! They have many similarities. Now I have to buy a Pelikan P600 Signum.

stilo non stile, stilo è l’abbreviazione di stilografica che vuol dire fountain pen, style invece si dice stile
Grazie mille!
My italian is not so good.
