"I think I swallowed my tongue ring!" 😂
This brings back a memory... I remember being at a Toys R Us at checkout, and our cashier was talking to another cashier about how there were some wrestlers in the store. So me and my friends started looking around, we had just gone to I want to say it was a RAW taping the previous night. It turned out to be Mosh and Trasher, they were walking out and they had just purchased their own action figures, which I found funny. I remember it was that scuba diving series. You could see the remnants of the face paint on them. We blankly stared at them and they clearly noticed that we recognized them, so they nodded at us and kept moving to the exit. I eventually yelled out to them 'you guys rocked last night', to which they looked back and said 'thanks'. And then, in one of those awkward moments, my friend goes 'yeah... we were there'. Lol, we still bring that up to him to this day.
Ehhh, back then they never stayed in town overnight. Calling bullshit with this one...
And if it were the next night why would they have remnants of facepaint? 🤔
@@j.l.3685 For what it's worth, I can assure you Uncle that I am not making this up! We saw them at a show in Lowell, MA and saw them at Toys R Us in Revere, MA the next day, about 45 minutes away give or take. That Toys R Us is next to a hotel that was known to be a place wrestlers stayed, and there was a gym a block or two away, I think it was a Golds, that wrestlers were known to work out at when they were in town. That Toys R Us is also on the road to Logan Airport in Boston. Why they were there the next day, I have no clue. The face paint looked like it had been washed off but you could see like a light grey haze of it, like they didn't quite get it all. Thrasher specifically.
@@jchis1211 don't explain yourself, always will be someone complaining about everything is a lie.
This is a great story. Thanks for sharing.
@@williamg-sixtrey6828 Yeah. I don’t see how that is such a mind blowing story as to merit disbelief. It’s not like he was claiming he was abducted by aliens. He just said he saw 2 wrestlers out in public who he witnessed wrestle the night before in the same general area. Pro wrestlers aren’t supernatural beings, just dudes with cool jobs. They go places and do things. I’m from outside of Pittsburgh and used to see Shane Douglas at the mall all the time during the height of ECW. He was just there shopping because that’s what you do.(or at least did until Amazon)
"Ow, I think I swallowed my tongue ring!"
man mosh hasn't aged a day since the attitude era.. 😳
You guys should bang!
The Ahmed Johnson voiceovers from War Zone are legendary.
Ahmed Johnson the god of peanut butter mouth
Bozo soup stars, bearbushopen. A NOUN!
Time to rewatch "fun with Ahmed" series on here!
Ahmed Johnson HOF 2024

Loved this video game. Played it all the time as a kid. Headbangers were always my pick.
Too bad they couldn't put the Road Warriors in it, why the roster only had 16 wrestlers is beyond me.
Jimmy Jump!
I remember in Wrestlemania 2000 I'd always edit Chaz and make him Mosh again to reunite the Headbangers
same. never was a fan of the change. beaver cleavage was one of the worst ideas.
I did the same thing. Also all of the Headbangers gear and faces were on No Mercy,so I would recreate them on that too.
I just swallowed my tongue ring!
Stage dive is still one of the best finishers
The way he says "computer games" is the most British thing ever. Like he's talking about the zx spectrum.
That's funny as hell
I think swallowed my tongue ring WWF WARZONE memories. Mosh seems like a cool guy loved the head bangers from but in the day. It was cool seeing them return in 2016 in WWE
Attitude for PS1 is still my favorite wrestling game of all time. Headbangers, Trainer, Jerry Lawler, were hilarious in that game. "Ow, my liver".
I also have the Headbangers bone crunching action figures. I still have a lot of those figures from that series. I was super pissed that they discontinued and replaced it with the Titantron series figures. The new series were taller than the previous one, so they weren't compatible with each. So I stopped collecting figures.
i totally agree the titan tron live figures sucked ass. they were terrible looking and size was awful. i had the complete set of bone crunchers, every figure from every series, every box set, mail in, everyone of them. then TTL came out and i quit collecting jakks until the classic superstars line.
Goldust lol
I loved the bone crushing figures as a kid best ones in my opinion
My friend & I would often use his Chaz Theme from Wrestlemania 2000 on N64 that we downloaded from Napster for some absurd videos & sketches we made. I remember a specific scene we used it as background music where we were Jesse Camp & Carson Daly(two MTV VJs at the time) traveling back from a future dimension after we had escaped from a guy in a rubber Bill Clinton mask firing lasers at us with nunchucks.
Only in the 90s
Funny it's inspired by "Loser" by Beck
Glad you asked him about the game, nice job James. It's still shocking that the Headbangers were on that War Zone roster instead of the Road Warriors, that's a pretty big achievement on its own.
All the best gimmicks are when the person can integrate themselves into it.
Undertaker and Goldust and Dude Love would like to have a word with you
I remember those games fondly. Warzone had Big Head Mode and Bean Mode. I still love fart soundsAnd Attitude came out after Owen passed away. All of my C.A.W.s had his OH armband on them. I truly wish Owen never passed away.
The Headbangers were my favourite tag team to play against in those games because of the voices. They were soo animated and really brought you into the game. I normally used Kane or my customs, but you are so right about how much more exciting their taunts were than most other characters.
"ugh i swallowed my tongue ring"
i still have warzone for ps1.
Yep, that's also why i picked mosh as often as i did on wwf attitude, his grunts and groans were very good to me.
Played this game a lot with my high school buddies. Yeah the internet hates it (like everything else) but we enjoyed the shit out of it.
Thanks for asking this! Lol
The taunts on attitude were much better
WWE should remaster War Zone. If it worked for Tony Hawk it could work for WWF games.
I would die to get another acclaim style wrestling game
WWE is afraid of the attitude era.. the past is modern's competition.
"Ah just swallowed my tongue ring!"
Mosh and thrasher were my favorites. I was bummed when they got cut
The Acclaimed games were horrible, BUT, the one good thing about these games were the voice overs, they were hilarious and cool, they basically what made me a fan of the Headbangers in the first place.
Very true. Graphic-wise they've aged horribly, but yeah the voice-overs really do hold up. Well, mostly, haha.
Yeah but until the WCW games came out on N64 I had no idea how bad the Acclaim games really were
War Zone was pretty revolutionary for its time, and was a huge upgrade compared to the previous "Mortal Kombat" style WWF games we had. The graphics were really good at the time, you could create your wrestlers, great commentary by Vince and JR, and the hardcore matches were super fun. Attitude had a great roster, but it was a lazy effort compared to War Zone no doubt (very little changes, same formula).
Nah Acclaim games were great. Reason I got into wrestling
I'm loving these videos. Always great questions, and great insights from the wrestlers.
My first wrestling game. Headbangers, Owen hart, hbk, farooq, goldust some of my favorites. I was terrified of Kane
Those games were awesome!
Much Respect Mosh! I always been a fan of The Headbangers! Always one of my favorite teams WWE had of the Attitude Era! Cheers Good Sir
I had the headbangers I had the Godwin’s I had LOD and the black Jacks but definitely the headbangers were a most have with the removal skirts
The Headbangers believe it or not were quite over for a good while in the early stages of the Attitude Era.
I begged wrestling bios to do one on the headbamgers. Absolutely loved them back in the day. What a blast for a 11year ols
And now they are in 2k24. That's nice
War Zone got me into wrestling and Attitude is one of the best games of all time. Aged bad but for the time, it was revolutionary. When I say aged bad, I probably still play it over most modern games cause it took skill. And Smackdown 1 and 2 I have zero desire to play. But when I play old wrestling, Attitude is always the go to
You’re probably in the minority there I played the game a lot but also hated the game I just played it cuz I was a wwf fanatic lol but it really sucked the gameplay was awful I shouldn’t have to press up up down down square triangle x just to do a power slam lol that’s what ruined the game the engine they used smack down was light years better
@@litodat233 Sucks for you. Too complicated for some I know. Plenty of my friends love the game. Pressing circle plus direction to hit any move, L1 for finisher, talk about lame. Made for babies. Hints why I go back to attitude when playing old wrestling. Even Legends of Wrestling Showdown was great.
@@I_Am_The_Social_Reject again your in the minority with that one I don’t have a problem pressing a combination for a finisher which would make sense but to do a simple body slam ? Hell no that’s exactly why revenge and no mercy are considered to of the best wrestling games of all time attitude would never it completely sucked they were trying to bring mortal kombat buttons into wrestling didn’t work that’s why they lost the license and couldn’t make wwf games no more cuz they sucked lol but hey if u liked it that’s fine but it doesn’t change the fact that the game was very bad
@@litodat233 Nope game was considered ahead of it's time. We all grew up with the acclaimed games. The WCW games were fine but simple. Sorry you agree with the majority of internet game that all have such a great track record for what's actually good lol.... A body slam is treated by you internet fans the way AEW treats the Canadian destroyer. You have no idea why the acclaimed games worked, and why wrestling worked. The only reason I ended up preferring Smackdown 2 was due to content. Nothing more. Until that game, Attitude was king
@@I_Am_The_Social_RejectI know I'm late but yeah, first game I grew up on was Attitude and I played it first in like 2006! It was legendary to me and I still go back as recent as last year. The little voice things are something I think all wrestling games should have adopted and I loved the whole thing.
Everyone worships Here Comes the Pain, WCW vs NWO, No Mercy, etc but there are 10x as many old wrestling games that deserve as much praise. But these are the same people who hyped up the new AEW game as the next No Mercy and when it came out were dissapointed, as well as same people who complain about 2k series but buy it EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
I remember the headbanger action figures as a kid I had to wait 3 months of looking for the headbangers figures every single time I went to Walmart, Target, toy r us, with no luck until I went to California to goto Disney Land for a vacation and went to Rite Aid where in there little toy section they had the figures which I remember only taking a look because I was bored while my mom was buying sun screen as well as some little things we needed for that first day at Disney Land.
Head bangers and mankind had the funniest voice overs and steve Austin doing the the lou thesz OH HELL YEAH
When I first Started watching lod and the head bangers where my favorite tags teams
I could never find the figures they were so hard to find of the Headbangers.
Three-Sixteen *bang*, Three-sixteen *bang*
I still have the original head bangers figures. Insane they never got love from mattel given they returned well after wwe and mattel went in business together. I would love a two pack with real cloth skirts. Lots crapped on the games but I really enjoyed warzone and attitude.
WWF War Zone & WWF Attitude: Literally the greatest games to ever exist. Still have them on multiple systems. N64 Version of War Zone had Royal Rumble but Playstation did not. Playstation had proper Theme Music when N64 had MIDI nonsense. What a time to be alive.
I just swallow my tongue ring
My favorite voice over was Goldust
Must be a trip having your own figure
I own both games for n64 and my favorite is Attitude I at one point in my life had 3 copies of it one for playstation that one got scratched and I sold a friend the double for N64 and the double of road to wrestlemania 2000 i had
I was one of the one's that bought that set of Mosh and Thrasher action figures when it came out! They were great figures! Back then I had a red pants Shawn Michaels figure that I got at a Raw show and I finally got a Bret Hart figure and both my Bret and Shawn got chewed by my friends dog... ugh. I was so upset. I only got to play with Bret once lol. I ended up getting another Shawn figure with blue pants but I didn't get Bret again.
Crazy To Know That Glenn Aka Thrasher Is My Boss And I Found All This Out Today
I wonder if he wore his Wrestlemania hockey jersey with his name on the back at the mall to get noticed as well. That's how I met him and got his autograph
Got the game at home on ps1
I remember buying warzone the first day it dropped. It was a fun game but didn't have many game features and wasn't nearly as good as future attitude era games or even WCW vs nwo games. Warzone and WWF attitude were two pretty cool games for their time though.
I MISS WWF SO MUCH MAN THIS WWE SUCKS ASS LMFAO XD
Sucks that Vader and The Patriot wasn’t in WarZone. 😞
Did you ask him about working with Eddie Hall? I know it was recent and very short they were like trying to train him but
i had to change chaz's outfit to mosh in the wrestlemania 2000 game... nobody liked that weird beaver cleaver / chaz gimmick lol
My momma black
You couldn't pick your opponent in war zone, SMH
War zone game sucked
You weren't alive then
Sure did. I didn’t much like Attitude either. SmackDown though…loved that game.
It was...fine, back in the day. I loved that there were some hidden moves and basically every move had its own counter.
Na, War Zone was pretty awesome at the time. It was the first real life "simulation" game from WWF, which was a huge upgrade compared to the Arcade game and In Your House. The graphics were great for 1998, and the commentary by Vince and Jr was terrific. It wasn't as fun as WCW World tour (and then Revenge) on N64, but it was still a huge upgrade and a revolution for WWF games.
@@Angelus13AOV i had both attitude and warzone has a kid...hated them but still played it alot, then smackdown came out and that was a game changer to me, loved it.
Sorry Dude, but I ain't buying that you outsold the LOD.
The LOD were bigger in other territories where they were called their original name, the Road Warriors.
I remember both games, couldnt play them. No matter how much i tried i couldnt get the concept of the button combo’s
Got a ps1 many years later and gave attitude another try, mastered it. Great game.
